Honestly, this is my favorite type of ASMR. Thinking of myself as a non sentient being, that is then cared for by a human and repairs me, makes me feel like this old piece of metal, has a heart.
Same! I find it strange because I'm not really that attached to personal attention doctor roleplays and you'd think they're the same sets of triggers more or less. The roleplay is just changed slightly There's something about the context of being a robot for repair that makes it so comforting I think it's because the tools and even the demeanour used to treat robots is a bit different They kinda talk to you like a wounded animal, and you get triggers such as power tools in your face lol and a lot of eye/screen tapping and brushing The tools have a heavier sound than doctors instruments as well
Same, I like it cause they treat you well and I don't have to feel as bad about not reacting to things. I watched this video where I was a painting getting restored and it was surprisingly really nice
