Why talented people are hard to find?! I have to search to find artists like her! And she is one of a kind!! Incredible passion and performance!! U r really great Meg!!!
Thank you for this. She's such a brilliant musician, one of my favorites of the 21st century. I like that even though I can't see her perform live right now, thanks to UA-cam I can feel sort of like I was right there. She always delivers such a top-notch performance of every song.
She is simply amazing.. yeap, not my first time listening to this but since I have come back so often it's only right I drop a comment n share my thoughts.
While I love Aurora, and I feel like she could really get down on the song "Anyway you wanna love", I'd really LOVE a Lacey Sturm and Meg Myers collaboration!!
Professional job. Very enjoyable exception here in a realm often saturated with uninformed and downright cringeworthy dialogue between the performer and host. Meg is certainly maturing and evolving gracefully. Still love the unapologetically passionate, unpolished and youthful version of her former self. (Aubrey Plaza with a guitar!?) I have been fortunate to see their concerts twice in small Cambridge venues. Hopefully will see them when they return next year. Stay independent, Meg. Rise above the influence.. Keep being you!
I've yet to see Meg in concert. I did see Tori, and she is amazing. The combo the of the two would be an explosion of maddening genius. As an artist myself, eternally unknown and unpublished, I would give all I have to jam with the both of them. I live for the emotion and the connection that music brings one to God. Not really being religious, but more spiritual, if there is a God, I do believe that music is our way of communicating with her or him. I know I certainly feel like I am in another place when I create and perform.
@@danielbruning1213 Same here. Writing and performing music or even just sitting and strumming the guitar for 20 minutes transcends the shackles of my flesh to take me somewhere better for a little while. It's as close to heaven as I will ever get.
@@jeremytodd77 VERY well put! I come from a family of musicians(my mother, then one by one, my two older brothers and then finally myself), and I can say for certain that when we play our guitars, it truly does feel like spending time with the man, or lady, upstairs. Like u said, even 20 minutes just strumming your guitar, you can feel your soul branching out into what I call the eather of life. Just an amazingly and sometimes, very spiritual experience. I love music and to have been given the ability to be a part of it. Even if I am the only one to feel or see it when alone. My daughter and my wife already know, when Daddy is playing guitar or bass or ukulele, not to bother me, because I am existing on a different plain of being during my music time and I wouldn't hear anyone talking if they did.lol
I knew from watching her videos like heart heart head and jealous sea as well as desire that she has had a lot of the same paranormal and metaphysical experiences that I have had with things like entities psychokinesis and astral projection. To any who disbelieve. Come work me up into a rage and I'll show you it's real. I wish I didn't have to be in that state but unfortunately that is the downside of psychokinesis you're most often will only experience it in a state of emotion that is as extreme as one can experience such as rage. Bad shit happens when I go off. I'm always shocked by the event which snaps me out of the state of rage . Things like ripping things off the walls from 25 feet away, making everyone in the room curl into fetal position cover their ears and scream and beg me to stop doing " that thing your doing to us" flipped a giant 200+lb solid oak coffee table like it was a coin. And much less impressively awoken from a seriously bad projection and flung a full water bottle across the room .

@Dan Ellis Funny you should say that; I was just thinking the other day that I hadn't heard anyone with Meg's vocal range since Beth Gibbons.
Ive heard both Meg and Beth live and so far, nothing can touch Beth live at Roseland , NYC
I always know when I’m listening to Meg Myers because I hear her music in my Soul...

One of our favorite artists! Such a great talent!
Your music 🎶 has truly helped me thank you
Not many people could pull off Kate Bush (her vocal quality and range) and actually be just as good as her. But she manages it. Incredibly talented.
She perfected that song.

hey how about something to cheer you upua-cam.com/video/mKyP3n-KpMA/v-deo.html
little over dramatic, she could act normal and sound the same. Sorry.
She actually feels her own music and is passionate about it each time. Not many have that nowadays
would this be too dramic for your tastes ua-cam.com/video/mKyP3n-KpMA/v-deo.html
or this one?ua-cam.com/video/P9MbI_UCqoE/v-deo.html
Maybe her normal isnt the same as yours
That's the only way to get an instrument to sound correctly.
