    What a exciting product!! I hope I get a event to use this. Love it!!
    I watched one of your other videos with bouquet arranging for weddings. Did my daughter's flowers for her wedding on 2-27-2021. :)
    I used the bunny tails you mentioned with her bouquet and it was beautiful. Added so much!! Game changer!!
    Thank you for great videos and information!!

    Any recommendations on achieving a dusty blue?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  Рік тому

      That's so tough because they don't have a good dusty blue paint.
      I've been digging these dusty blue preserved roses we just got in a few weeks back because they are super subtle.

    I know this was posted awhile ago. Will this work on the "real touch" polyurethane/foam flowers? I'm trying desperately to figure out what paint I can safely use.

      Regular spray paint will work on faux blooms. We keep trying to get Design Master but they are still on backorder. Boo Covid!

    I love all your videos, I've learned so much, thank you!
    Planning a wedding this summer and need a touch of burgundy, can I use Design Master on any flower?
    Will my flowers last as long after i spray paint them?
    I appreciate any feedback

      Yes, you can use it on any flower, and it doesn't seem to shorten the vase life. However, I wait to spray them on the day I design because if the flower needs to open then there will be more petal surface area. For burgundy, I always love burgundy carnations because it's THE PERFECT SHADE and so consistent! I then layer in Rubicon Spray Roses, although they are a really deep red they look burg in photos.
      Design Master stopped producing in the pandemic, but Smithers-Oasis bought them out so hopefully, it'll be back by the time your event gets here! XOXOXO

    Can I use Krylon in a pinch?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  Рік тому

      You can use regular spray paint on hardy flowers and greenery, but it will take a bit to dry. It tends to stay sticky for a while due to the moisture in the plant.

    I love your videos, I have a client who wants a turquoise rises and hydrangea, I am thinking to mix blue and green, do you have any tips to get a nice colour?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  Рік тому

      Design Master has a Turquoise color! If you want to mix your own colors, I would recommend testing out the saturation levels on another flower just to make sure you like it before going all in. Make sure you're spraying from at least 10-12" away from the flowers so you can control the spray and level of paint that comes out to get a nice even layer!

      @@FlowerMoxie Thank you for your reply, unfortunately, our wholesalers in Canada are not selling spray paint since Covid. I found it on Etsy and it will cost me $60.00, so I will try some experiments by mixing colours on Canations!

    Are supply issues for this product common? I'm struggling to find it anywhere.

      Same. They have been out of commission since COVID because they couldn't get in their can's straws and nozzles. Since then, they've been purchased by Smithers Oasis due to financial trouble. Smithers has said it will be back in 2022.
      It's made being a florist SO HARD because we are experiencing such a shortage in flowers as it is, Design Master is a safety net.

    Are these discontinued?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  2 роки тому

      No, we're hoping to get it back this year! When the pandemic happened they were unable to get the straws and nozzles and I think ran into financial issues, so another company (Smithers Oasis) came in and bought them and the rumor is it'll be back within a few months. Fingers crossed!!!
