OVER THE YEARS I HAVE HIT THOUSANDS OF SOFTBALLS WITH VARIOUS COMPOSITE BATS !!! I HAVE ONLY CRACKED ONE BAT, A MIKEN ORIGINAL ULTRA !!! I AM ON A FIXED INCOME (I AM 75 YEARS OLD) I HAVE MY OWN PITCHING MACHINE AND 2 BOMBAH SENIOR BATS THAT I PAID $39.95 EACH !!!! I AM HAPPY WITH WHAT I HAVE !!!!

Good advice ! Rotate and hit good 44/375 balls . Also, step on the bat ,above the grip and rotate .i have bats with a thousand hits and they keep getting better ! 😄
The league I play in uses ASA 52/300 balls but does not care if you use an ASA or USSSA bat. I know ASA bats perform better with ASA balls, however as it gets colder, like low 50’s, would a USSSA bat work better since the cold temp makes those 52/300 balls harder?
Just bought two new miken dc 41s for usssa slow pitch from 2021. What balls are safe to use on these bats to both break in and to also play with. I will only be using them for utrip tournaments and need them to pass compression
If they are using plastic balls or worn down old softballs I would not recommend hitting there. Make sure they are regular 44/375 softballs or 52/300 if you are breaking in a ASA/USA bat.

Want to sell more bats? Outlaw all the bats that dont break, and rip off thousands of customers. Then make bats that can only hit certain balls and will break if you dont do it right. You guys ruined the sport to make money.

If you really need a bat I have a good broken in Miken I could donate to you. It’s a USSSA bat though, not sure if your league allows that.

Step on the bat above the handle? What does that do? Full 200lbs of pressure? Seems like it could damage the bat, no?

It depend on the bat, the balls used, and the person hitting with it

The only legal way there is….hitting softballs with them

Hit 50 to 100 52/275s, stay clear of classic ms, worth platinum bp balls, extremes ...all will destroy your bats
