40 of 49 throwing for Big Ben.
That's crazy.
With 522 yards 6 TDs and no picks 😶
@@devinjerryfreedomisfree4599 no sacks either.
In fact, all 3 of his 500 yard games, are all wins and no INTs in either!
Unheard of.
@@kimblandino not all of them
He had 501 passing yards against the browns and 4 ints to the lost to the browns in this years AFC wild card
@@Vari___
I thought about that as soon as they showed his stats.
What a bummer.
Cleveland almost beat KC though, so that makes me feel a little better.
@@kimblandino yep, honestly I wanted the chiefs to beat them just so I can see them play the bills. 2 godly teams in the AFC championship.
This game is perfect example of why Andrew retired 😂
lol
Deon Nelson He was overrated anyway.
scareface936 you sound stupid
@@THELASTREALKING93 fking clown
As a Steeler fan, I remember Luck getting pummeled this game and getting back up every time smiling, and then throw a dart for 20 yards next play.
After we won, I didn't mention the 50 points we scored on the #1 Defense through 8 weeks.
I didn't go gaga over Ben's dominant performance or gush over L. Bell, AB, Bryant, etc.
I said; "Andrew Luck is a tough sonuvabitch. He has my respect."
And When Troy Polamalu lined up in the C-Gap
Lol
Pollamaloo 7:52
Good job? are we not gonna talk about how big of an asshole Troy Polamalu is rn?
Luck was really trying he's best to carry them.
Yee colts are gonna beat steelers this year intresting colts had same record that game as they do this year at 5 and 2
Idris Suhrheinrich Steelers almost had the same record too
@@brendonkeen1974 ikr crazy but colts are winning this time
Idris Suhrheinrich i hope but the last time I was certain we were gonna win we loss to the raiders
@@brendonkeen1974 we didnt have ty hilton or darius leonard vs raiders though
How you can score 34 points and throw for 400 yards and STILL get blown out is beyond me. No wonder Luck retired.
Feels weird now that neither are playing
Really does
The Colts' defense was hell to watch
They were #1 in the league until this game.
Had decimated Cincinnati the week before, allowing 135 TOTAL yards.
Dominated Philly on MNF the week before that.
@@kimblandino , uh no. We choked a 20-6 lead in the 4th to Nick Foles in week 2 on mnf(darren sproles had a monster game)...the Bengals game was week 7 where we won 27-0
@@trivianumber1503 and the Steelers took notes on that, watched some film, then continued
@@kimblandino I thought the lions D was the number 1 D
One of the most underated games in NFL History!
Next time the Steelers and the Eagles play each other, one team should wear the Steagles home jersey and the other team should wear the Steagles away jersey.
heard it here 1st
I'm totally down to watch that. It would be great actually
Yoooooo NFL DO THIS!
This Steelers' offense was electric. So fun to watch!
Incredible day for Ben; definitely his best game of his career and rarely anybody else who has put up those stats in a game
Watching this in the 2023-2024 season, just trying to remember what a good Steelers offense looks like
For my money the greatest single game played by a QB ever. Big Ben had 0 sacks, 0 ints, 6tds, and 522 yards against the number 1 defense in the NFL. He also stopped throwing half way through the 4th and could have easily set the single game record for passing yards
which is crazy for a modern day nfl game
Crazy how the records of both teams are basically the same 🤯
Big Ben with the punt 😂
10 on the attempt. 3 for the execution.
This game was awesome to be at. First Steelers game ever for me, and Big Ben throws 6 TD’s 😂😂😂
2 QBs from the same mold. Tough, physical and strong
this was a electrifying game remember watching this both luck and big Ben put on great performance
Ben is WAY underrated
7:53 Polomalu on the C gap
Sergio Salazar YES SOMEBODY KNOWS!!
Was gonna say that. Pat's a legend
pat Mac lmao.... good one
@@thechef2245 right... lol
But was that really the c gap?
This was a fun one to watch for sure. The first of a two week stretch where Big Ben tossed 6 TDs each while averaging over 400 yards per game.
Games like this are why I personally believe Ben doesn't get enough credit. Sure, he's not on the level of say, Brady, Brees or Manning, but on his best days, it's hard to argue that he's not a top 5 QB. Hope we haven't seen the last of his days in the league. It'd truly be a shame.
Clearly not, Ben already said that he will honor the contract (which he will be under through 2021). Once he is healthy, he will back at the QB starting position again.
Smug Tomato I couldn’t agree more, hope to see more good games from Ben
The fact Luck dragged this team to 5-2 lmao
Insane. Crazy to think how good we’d be right now if he was still here
Elk Blood we are good
What a sweet memory for us Steelers fans. The mighty killer Bs...
This was 100% their best year
Big Ben is a top 5 all time great! The Most Perfect passer rating games, the Most Passer rating games above 150. 3rd most comeback wins.
and the most 6TD games(did it back to back weeks), and the most 500yd games and the most 450+yd games, and I believe the 6th most qb wins in playoffs, and 3 wins away from being 2nd
Man i remember this day like yesterday. So weird calling it a throw back. It's also kinda weird how we almost have the exact same records as before. If only Juju didn't fumble we would be 4-3.
William Gay has the best touchdown celebrations🤣🤣🤣
As a steelers fan I'm really going to miss those TD celebrations. 😢
He once had a streak of 5 straight INTs he all took back for 6.
Big play will gay
Awesome, you should do more games from this year!
RIP Andrew Lucks offensive line
I miss 12
He still playing. We just call him the goat.
Hahaha. Aaron with that one super bowl a decade ago. Even with a bad defense a great quarterback should at least appear in more than one super bowl. Brady in 11 and 17 did.
Luck never looked like a franchise QB. Ben had a career day on this one, but most credit to both defenses for trying to keep Indy in that game LOL
Man we had something special but couldn't do shit with it because of the GOAT Brady...
😏😏😏😏
7:53 Polamalu ruining Pat McAfee's life
A six-touchdown day for Roethlisberger on that sunday
Prime ben is a top 5 QB All time he was absolutely lights out
Polamalu, Shaz, AND the killer bees. Epic.
who else is watching this while wearing an Andrew Luck jersey?
These steeler jerseys were the greatest ever
If leveon had a knee in the playoff they at least make the sb
Hey NFL Throwback, The Bears and Eagles play this week also. Put the Fog Bowl game highlights up later this week if you're not too scared lmao. (I"m kidding I love this channel).
Ben Roethlisberger had one hell of a night like a awesome if not the best underrated game in NFL History straight up!
40 of 49 for 522 yards and 6 TDs with no sacks or picks is actually an insane game. Mad respect from a Pats fan 🫡
Games like these are just fun to watch! Go Steelers!
Who remembers Legarrette Blount playing for the Steelers ??? That's some Mandela effect stuff right there. 😂
😁😁😁
8:52 why is this juke not in any all-time juke vids?! That was nastyyyy
Life long steelers fan 13:32 first (and only) time I ever seen Tomlin smile
The game that made me fall in love with the Killer Bs
PALLAMALOO JUST LINED UP IN THE GODDAMN C GAP
I wish they still looked like that today they would be Unstoppable
Fun fact: Big Ben threw for another 6 TD’s the next week after this game, this time at home against the Ravens. Only quarterback in NFL history to throw 6 TD’s in consecutive games. Unbelievable.
I wonder how much the guys who yell _Passssssss_ or _ruuuuunnnn_ on the sidelines make per year. Gotta apply for that.
Was at this game greatest football game I’ve even seen
Colts Steelers rivalry is seriously underrated!
Ben the next week: "Wanna see me do it again?"
Weird to see both Bradshaw and Nicks as Colts. They played (and beat) their old team the following week.
It's a shame Luck retired young, but I respect him just saying he had enough and didn't need to prove anything else. Most guys don't have that restraint.
Remember that time when pit signed moncrief and he forgot to bring his hands. Yeah, that sucked
Holy sh>/, moncrief caught a ball.
Killer bees were too fun to watch. But when the defense was on the field it was better to just turn the TV off.
a b yeah this year it was the other way around haha
Ben Roethlisberger is undoubtedly a future Hall of Famer but during his playing career I always had the feeling as though he was notch below the truly elite QBs like Brady, Peyton Manning, Rodgers, and Brees.
2014 was the one year Big Ben truly belonged in that echelon of QBs.
He never threw for more than 34TDs and he led the league in picks that year. Very good QB but he has zero personal accolades
Probably the most fun I've had watching a regular season game....but I'm a Steelers fan so 🤷🏾♀️
I love that fans are coming back to reminisce over when the Offense had fire
Idk why but that Big Ben shovel pass looked so clean
Miss those Uniforms
Gay definitely lived up to his name with that touchdown dance.
Great jerseys and socks of Pittsburg, like shades of 1899.
I was at that game. Hell of a game!!!
I miss these Steelers
WE ARE KICKING IT
Hey good call there
It's a shame these prime years of Ben Roethlisberger were wasted with no Superbowls or even a Superbowl appearance. These were some pretty good Steeler offensive teams from 2014-2018 and were completely wasted because of a subpar defense at times, especially in the playoffs.
if we had the 2014 offense with the 2023 defense we would be contenders
not me watching this in 2022 to try to feel better that bens gone and now we have pickett
Had Ben in one fantasy league and Luck in another
Unstoppable offense
They hyped Andrew Luck up so much, but in reality, he was a turnover machine.
If I could turn back time, too the good dope dayz ,
Both Bryant AND Wheaton could have been STARS in the league for a LONG TIME but unfortunately they DIDN'T HAVE A BRAIN BETWEEN THEM !!!
You NEED to post 2007 Patriots vs Ravens. Undefeated, primetime, rematch. Please include when the announcer says "is tonight the night" after the first touchdown.
Check out the channel later today!
@@NFLVault Thank you so much 😭
back when the steelers had an incredible oline
Are u going to do 2012 Ravens vs Patriots Sunday night
What about the 2009 wild card game or the 2011 AFC Championship game or the 2012 AFC Championship game
Omg that nfl theme music cant wait for September lets go niners
Bradshaw was a great rb. Very underrated
As a colts fan our defense hurt us more then the o line we never could cover wen we played good qbs
I miss Ben :(
i feel i'm one of the few persons that actually likes the Steelers old days, legacy whatever , "killer bees" striped uniforms
Derrick Henry was nfl 2 semester in college. Derrick Henry was nfl 2 semester in college. Derrick Henry was nfl 2 semester in college. Derrick Henry was nfl 2 semester in college. Derrick Henry was nfl 2 semester in college.
“Oh but the Steelers only own the Colts because they don’t face Andrew Luck” yet we’re 24-6 against them since 1950, so what that says is that we’ve been owning this team for damn near 70 years.
Really hate Andrew isn’t in the league anymore. Not a Colts fan, but he really made this league better. Wish he could’ve gotten more help
I had Ben , AB and TY Hiltonon my fantasy team lol
That year I had Luck, Bell, Megatron, and Brown
Back when the Steelers use to be so dominant :(
Make a video of packers and chargers 2011 showdown
Y did polamalu have to be in the c gap
As a Steelers fan, I remember NO ONE picked us in this game. And we destroyed. This was also big ben’s 100th win.
And nobody picked us to beat the Colts this year (well outside of a few) and we beat them. People just don’t learn the fact that we absolutely own the Colts. We own them in hienz field, we own them in their stupid glue factory Lucas oil stadium, we own them in Pittsburgh, we own them in Indy, we just own their soul. We’ve won 6 games in a row against them, also 8-2 this millennium against them, and we’re now 25-6 against them all time. And they come back to Pittsburgh next year, and we’re gonna beat them YET AGAIN
7:53 “WE ARE KICKING IT”
Now the Steelers would give Tomlins kidney to get Luck out of retirement this year!
Nah, no we wouldnt. Well see this week actually if we need luck or if our 2nd year backup Mason Rudolph can handle the Colts or not.
This was just a showing of how bad Andrew Lucks oline was for so long
7:53 C GAP
This seems less of a duel and more of an asskicking
40/49 522 Passing YDS 6 Passing TD 150+ Passer Rating. Im a Browns fan and yet I can’t and might not ever get over these stats 😂
The NFL needs new guidelines for offensive PI. Picks should not be legal, I mean technically they aren't, but teams constantly get away with it in big situations too. I get the league wants offense but they shouldn't let teams do it illegally. It sucks. When it happens to your team in a big spot on a third down when u need the ball back you'll feel it then. Like they did with illegal contact that one year where they emphasized it, they need to do the same thing with offense running picks. Make them do it legally. Change the rule. Clean it up. Call it when it happens. Too many times teams get huge plays off of something that should be illegal
I was thinking there is NO WAY this game was played in 2014. NO FUCKING WAY! Then I saw the MMXIV at the end of the broadcast, and damn near shit myself. I don't remember Polamalu, Miller, DHB, or Harrison playing in this game. I thought this was like a 2016 game or something. Fucking Marcus Wheaton, and a super young Alien Martavis Bryant playing like a promising legit number 2 WR, then the weed got him. Fuck man, I don't even remember having Bell back in 2014.
Damn this team was loaded....
For one day the Pittsburgh Steelers were the Pittsburgh Bees
2:58 Geno Smith out of game (Coach decision)
Those Colts teams couldn’t ever get a pass rush. It was disgusting to watch every Sunday. Grigson is the worst GM ever.
I miss the scoreboard and the music
6:18 21 was on the sidelines smh
