Eli had the two best SB performances, but clearly Ben was the best overall QB of that class. Ben is also the only QB to ever be the #6 seed and beat the 1, 2 & 3 team on the road to win a SB. If I had to take one of the three from the 2004 class it would be Ben. Easy call.

Obviously so. Ben is the only Hall of Famer in that draft class. Probably should deserve a spot on the top 10 all time list too. Ben is 5th all time in passing yards, 8th all time in passing touchdowns, 5th all time in wins, T2nd all time for game winning drives, 3rd all time in 4th quarter comebacks, 8 time AFC north champ, 3 time AFC conference champ, 2 time superbowl champ. Also never had a season below .500. Plus the ONLY quarterback to ever have two back to back 6TD games. Last one is kinda esoteric, but a nice cherry on top, lol. Dude was at least top 10 in every important category for a quarterback, if not higher.

Ben is one of the greatest to ever play the QB position. It’s a damn shame that the media never gave the man his props and always gave him the short end of the stick. He’s in my top ten QB’s of all time easily. He was just different. You see how his play has reflected on the game today with the likes of Josh Allen and Mahomes in and outside the pocket. Both of these guys move like Ben did in his career, not quite as rugged as Ben was but damn was it a privilege getting to watch him play.

He was remarkable in his prime and the connection he and Ben had was undeniable, but I'm ambivalent about Brown because he became a distraction and (IMO) a locker room cancer as his career progressed.

Hopefully, getting free from Matt Canada's evil clutches will help Pickett. It was impossible to fairly evaluate him while he was stuck in Canada's steaming pile of an offensive scheme.

@@thomas2811 Yeah, I don’t think KP is the answer. Average at best IMO. That said… the kid deserves and chance without Canada. I hope he proves us wrong.

HOF is a BOLD statement… but I agree with the sentiment. He could’ve been SO much more than he was. As you said, what a waste of talent. 😑

I’m a Steelers fan, but these are the ugliest uniforms ever. It sucks that Ben did that in that uniform which will be forever encapsulated in time haha
