Interesting list, but none are my "must have's" at a gig. Missing is: flashlight (GOOD ONE!), HDMI adapters/pigtails, two-to-three prong AC adapters, cube tap, gaffers tape, clip light, usb adapters (C to B!), midi controller. This is my must have for any gig. Big props to I&I HQ, love you guys.

Some basic but never the less valuable tips, thanks for sharing :)
Although I either work in client offices or from home, having a wireless trackball mouse available onsite sounds super helpfull, because some labs really have limited space and due to the amount of hardware used for R&D taking away most of it, I too sometimes think that a trackball might work better ...

A seriously good list! What I also include: HDMI cable, DP Port to HDMI converter, USB C to USB A Adapter, multiple USB keys, Backups of the actual project, a Mouse Trackmat, wired keyboard and mouse

Great tips, thanks for sharing! The DP port to HDMI adapter can come in handy, you never know when you'll find yourself needing it!

Great question. For me it depends on how far away I am going and whether I am bringing larger equipment or not and whether I am driving or flying. Everything that I mentioned on this video, I just put it in my backpack next to my laptop, even if I am traveling with a hardcase. These are more my essentials. But definitely, if I am traveling with larger equipment (projectors, kinects, etc) a hardcase or in its defect, a suitcase with proper padding and boxes, is always needed.

@@AnaEstarita-pt8rf love my track ball too. i like that lil bag. I generally have a laptop case or backpack, but those often get overstuffed and sometimes contaminated with snacks. a small gear bag is easy to add.
Watching the vid, I realized the one piece i almost always carry/wear is a bluetooth headset. My ToneMac N18 connects to both phone and laptop (at same time!) and the neck strap keeps em from falling out and lost. An over ear/mic wired headset is an around as option, but these are my goto - and waterproof ipx7 so i wear em doing Haiku Maui yardwork in drizzle. Good for music and comms.

the rPi screen sounds useful, esp via a usb-c hub. I have a couple pi+7" touch screens in cases (pi3, pi4). Its not quite the same as an extra hdmi screen, but can add additional functionality. The newer pi5 cases are attractive... perhaps for the next smart camera experiment

Which Raspberry Pi screen was referenced in that pic? There’s a lot of options out there, but would love one that has its own frame and angled stand

this connects direct via ?port? or use a pi+touchscreen portable?

@@JerryIsdale This one connects via HDMI. If you don't have HDMI ports you could always use a USB C Hub to connect through.
