    Great tutorial! at 10:32 you'll probably want to turn off the monochrome to not get the 'diagonal' noise effect. I'd also set the offset to 0, make it 32 bit float (to get the negative numbers) and set the output to noise only.

    Just wondering if it's possible to use a texture/ PBR material on to the points?

      Technically yes, because we're using a sphere as the base geometry that's being instanced, however one thing to consider is that the same texture would be applied to all instances
