This is awesome. Growing up in the 80’s and first half of the 90’s, I spent my summers in a camper with my parents at MB Travel Park. It’s an amazing place in the summer, always something going on there. My wife and I have plans to purchase a camper soon, so I can continue with my summer tradition.
We had a really nice time while we were there. We will have another video coming out in a couple of weeks showing some of what we did while we were there.
Really well done! You described and showed all the things one would need to know with no self-serving fluff. Good camera work as well. I particularly liked the "sittin' across the picnic table" format - like being in camp there with you - no shaky camera and good sound quality (can't stand mumblers in high winds). You went the extra mile, finding local stuff - everybody likes a good breakfast joint! Subscribed and looking forward to more. Have made a few videos for the Boy Scouts and know a good presentation when I see it.
Awesome! Saved to our favorites for future travel. We plan on spending the majority of our full time RV life at the beach or along the coast. Thanks for sharing! Michael & Tiffany
Hey y'all. Just subbed your channel. Loved the reviews you gave. Check our channel out. We would love to have y'all part of our family. We are new at this and are looking for an RV to travel in. Thanks again for sharing and look forward to following y'all. Blessings!
I had to go through your playlists to find this! I thought I remembered you doing a review a while back where you were camped virtually right by the beach. We are thinking of camping here in October so it was great to see the park through your eyes! We’ll be at Happy Acres the weekend of September 16-19 so if you’re around we might need to do a fireside chat!
Been taking our camper here for 28 years, best place we've ever been to, absolutely beautiful place, very family friendly, you could literally setup and never leave this place , they have just about everything you need , just a great place
So glad we found this vid. Was looking for a nice rv park in Myrtle Beach....I believe we just found it❤ thank you for sharing I'm assuming you were there last yr before the covid happened 🤔
My husband and I just stayed there in October for our honeymoon and loved it. It's a fantastic resort. We stayed in one of their travel trailers you can rent and it was so nice. It was clean and well maintained. They also had all the necessities right in there. I highly recommend the resort and well!
That place looks amazing! I know it rained some, but otherwise how were the temps there? Thanks for the wonderful review, will definitely save for future destination. Safe travels and see you #ondowntheroad! ~💜
Thanks for the review, this campground looks fabulous. Todd and I are looking for somewhere to go in SC near the beach. We'll definitely add this one to our list. We're still bummed that we didn't get to hang out with you guys but I'm sure we'll see you soon #ondowntheroad
@@TravelswithDelaney We can't either. We're probably crazy starting them now, right before camping season gets into full swing :-) We think it will give us more motivation to get them done. Guess we'll see. Thanks for cheerleading us on, we're 7 away from 1,000. Woo hoo!
Haven't had a chance to get to Myrtle Beach (YET). Great job. Just subscribed and looking forward seeing more. We're relative youtube newbies, just approaching 100 sub's.
Thank you! We just subscribed back so you one closer to that first 100! Your name really sums up our true loves! We often debate which we love more; mountains or beaches!
@@TravelswithDelaney that's what my hubby & I are trying to figure out. I haven't done much traveling but we are thinking of moving to the beach; specifically Myrtle Beach SC, NC coast, or VA Beach. We just got back from Myrtle Beach which is quite lovely! Now I need to visit the other 2 places to see which Is the best fit for us (looking for lower housing costs & job opportunities). When we drove thru the Blue Ridge Mt.s in VA it was sooo beautiful but we didn't stop to tour the area, so now I'm wondering if that would be better lol! Thoughts, anyone??
Wow you guys are looking great! Patty I love that Texas t-shirt! That park sure looks inviting. One of these days I hope to make it to the Carolinas! Safe travels #ondowntheroad!
Hello new sub here. New to UA-cam as well. Still learning. Saw you on the Roads we Roam.Cute fur babies! You have a great channel. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
so cool, and the possibility of renting to test the water.....thanks for taking us with you! We really need to meet....am sensing a real fuddy duddyness !
Hi we subscribed. Life with Ken and Jane ! We own a Phoenix cruiser. Love it so far, and yes it’s an rv so we get a problem here and there. Just like the house. Love to see you take care . We’re heading that way.
Travels with Delaney if you go next year, that could be a plan. We aren’t midsummer beaches, but spring could work, looks like you missed spring break too.
Greendragon434 did you take family trips or summer stays? We only just discovered this area on our national adventure when we stayed in South Carolina- I love the details this video explores 💕it definitely confirms the beauty of the area!
@@OurNationalAdventure We were there for spring break this time. Normally we go at spring break but a couple of years ago we do go over the 4th of July. It was very hot when we were there. We prefer the cooler temps over spring break. Plus it is very crowded in the summer. We also love visiting Charleston and Hilton Head.
So it's $45-$85 per night? That's a little crazy for a campground. You can get an oceanfront hotel in Myrtle for far less. What's the point of camping if it costs more than a hotel?
I don't think most people camp because they think they can save money by not staying in hotels. For us its being able to bring our pets, having our own comfortable bed and bedding, know how clean our bathroom is and being able to cook and not eat out all the time. When you camp in high demand areas, the prices are always higher. Most of the time though, we don't spend more than $20-$30 per night for a campsite and many times we camp for free.
Well everyone has their own priorities. I love camping but the cost is definitely a consideration for me. When you factor in the cost of owning an RV or trailer (especially an RV) plus the expense of the lot rental, it just doesn't make sense to me.
@@TravelswithDelaney yes maam it is an awesome place to live. the january and february weather is in the high 50"s and lows in the 30"s at night. its weather ive come to enjoy now. after spending 7 years in denver colorado and surving a blizzard the 1st winter i was there it makes me appreciate this weather here. when yall are in the area and want some reccomendations please feel free to contact me. also im on face book as well. both pics im using on there are pics of my furbabies.
How about the hurricanes and high winds during the summer I'm about to drive there to start medical treatment. Oh and all that rain lately?!!! How are those experiences?
Quite possibly my favourite RV resort, I didn't want to leave the first year there. If you get up early enough you can take a short walk and enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the amazing beach

Thanks guys! We really enjoy visiting that park especially with the proximity to the water from the sites.
I got to stay there last spring its was great so close to the beach and the amenities were awesome!! Also the staff were very accommodating
We really like it too! We hear great things about some of the other resorts but we have just fallen in love with this one.

Check out Murals Inlet south of MB . Lots of wonderful restaurants and beautiful vistas of marsh !

We just drove thru this place, it’s a dump. No way we staying there.

Stayed there every summer for the last 7 years in one of the mobile homes a little further from the water. It’s great.
Those look like a great option for someone who does not own a trailer.
Travels with Delaney they’re great but you have to buy them, I’m pretty sure, unless the people that own them rent them out.
Shayla B the campground has mobile homes and campers that they rent by the week. No pets allowed in them.
Great review.
Thank you.
What are the costs to RV here?
Robert J Baumgartner Rates range from $45 to $87 per night for full hookups depending on the season
I love this place
We do too!
Hello from Murrells Inlet! Glad to see you guys are in town. When we do local camping we like Huntington Beach State Park. Enjoy your spring break!
