- In this video I use Photoshop's High-Pass Filter to quickly dodge and burn and increase depth in my photo. The steps are very easy to follow.
Learn how to automatically and naturally dodge and burn your images to bring out the dimension, depth and structure that already exists in the image.
This tutorial will be done using Adobe Photoshop 2020 but you can follow along even if you use Photoshop CC.

GOOD VIDEO! You should be bale to do a invert of that useing Gaussian blur insted of high pass and that should flaten the face.. RIGHT? 🤔🤨

I have a little, problem
I used neewer c-250D strobe light and in my room to practice whatever I learn in Ur lessons, but I don't really enjoy d light dat comes from it. What meant b d problem?? Shud I get a big modify or change the strobe??

merge all layers, save for web, drop quality to 90% and change the upper dimension box to 1600px, also click on convert to srgb. That's all.

Such a good workflow add on! I try to only use a global D+B where needed. Sometimes i find I don't need to do this. PS what did you use to light that shot? Beauty dish? Did you use a fill from under?
+James Monette oh that’s great! I mostly work based on my mood so sometimes I want to work with shortcuts, sometimes I don’t want to do anything at all...
Concerning the lighting setup.. it’s actually going to be in my upcoming digital workshop/course.
But basically I bounced the light into a wall behind me.. n I had a reflector below her to lift the shadows a tiny bit.
Very helpful and saves time. But could this be made into an action to save more time?

It’s long because I had to explain the steps.. and yes I mentioned you won’t have individual control cus it’s a shortcut.. but it’s a quick way to add depth.
The video is very information yes got to agree with that but, the way how your mixing other stuffing the middle of the other method you trying to show us is a little confusing at time but thank you all the same
