What a lot of people forget is that some of us old, fat, balding men were not long ago the young, thin, long haired guys up on stage belting out songs in clubs and theaters. Some of us have recorded original music, some that you might have heard but had no idea the names of the people who did those songs. Oh, and some of your moms used to throw themselves at us. There’s a reason we look old, fat and are losing our hair. There’s a lot of miles on us, but we can still drive!
I played drums for more bands than I can remember. I still beat the hell out of my Tamas but thanks to arthritis I'm only good for one or two sets when we play out.
For all the haters that say he should have picked another song besides Journey, or this is an easy song to sing, I'd like to see you get up there and do this. For an amateur the guy killed it.
Wow....I come from the San Francisco Bay Area the Home of Journey and have heard this song a 1000 times, but this was something. Steve would be pleased,👍🏼
Just another example of "not to judge a book by it's cover" ..... this guy blew me away..... just wowza!!!! Not to mention that Journey is difficult to sing in the first place....excuse me while I pick my jaw up off of the floor....
Young men take notice. Dude is oozing confidence. Or just doesn’t give a fuck. Either way it takes about 60 years to figure it out unless you’re special
He was murdering it, however I wanted to wait for that special moment which arrived at 2 minutes and 53 seconds. Well, he ivicorated it!! Well done indeed!!!
The best Steve Perry impression I've heard is by a singer named Hugo Valenti; he's the singer of a Journey tribute band called 'Voyage'; check their UA-cam channel out. You may be surprised at how accurate Hugo Valenti sounds to Steve Perry.
man just casually broke out the perfect forrest gump impression like that
His power comes directly from his white New Balance dad sneakers.
So true 👍
What do you wear?
U mean SKETCHERS? or WORLD BALANCE
Legend has it, those shoes are used on a zero-turn mower weekly and still look new.
Hahahaha

I am a big Journey fan, and this guy was awesome!
Really Good!! Don’t ever under estimate the chubby Middle aged Dad. We were young & cool once also.
Anyone who can even hit the notes comfortably is awesome.
I'd hate to be the next guy :D
unless its Steve Perry
Exactly !! 😊🤣
Ha ha ha...lol
Right? Lol
Unless it's Dean Castronva or Steve Perry or Arnold Panela. Dean can play the drums and nail the vocals.
For all the haters that say he should have picked another song besides Journey, or this is an easy song to sing, I'd like to see you get up there and do this. For an amateur the guy killed it.
