When they started talking about Final Fantasy 14 and Sage I got distracted, especially when Lui mentioned that she plays White Mage. I main'd White Mage in 2.0 and it was my go-to healer 4 whole expansions...until Sage came out. I've dabbled in all the jobs over the years but it wasn't until Shadowbringers that I took the time to learn how to play ALL of the jobs at max level at the time. I had always heard that Scholar was really strong but for the life of me I've never enjoyed playing it. I didn't mind playing barriers with AST but regen was always so much stronger so I really didn't get to use it much. Honestly, it wasn't until Sage that I've grown an appreciation for barrier healers and it quickly became my go-to healer in FFXIV for ALL CONTENT as it excels in everything and has only gotten better throughout the Endwalker expansion as they've given it QoL that just makes it physically difficult for me to choose another healer to play when a healer is needed.
Sage has an overloaded kit while they refuse to give the other healers what they need to keep up. I originally planned to play Scholar in Endwalker because I knew tons of people would play Sage, but once I tried Sage I just couldn't go back. It's simply more fun. You have the healer dash, plenty of mitigation and regen on top of your shields, and more offensive options compared to the other three.
very cute, lui-nee and iroha. even though iroha's knowledge has been slightly tainted now, at least iroha does have the point that she might not accidentally say and use it now, which could be a better thing.
Please don't ever change, Kazama. I still remember all those time we spammed "Don't!", "Stop!" whenever she almost googled some words, or some tricking her by saying the not lewd definition.
3:38 personal timestamp for lui throwing... shaking? some hair from her face, plus that rapid escalation of the topic that followed. also we _did_ try to stop lui, cant believe she tried to throw us under the bus, but luckily irohas seiso aura made her confess immediately.
Kazama Iroha, The Last of Seiso
She doesn't try to be one, _she is the one_
Lui this year: “I was tricked to look it up”
Lui last year: “I’m sorry guys, I’m the one in the wrong here”
We have hit that strange point where even chat is desperately trying to protect Iroha’s innocence.
3:45
Lui: As for what Sage means, I'll show you.
Ayo Lui-nee? 😏👀
For the Sage time example, action speaks louder than words, Lui-nee ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
By pure coincidence, I rewatched the kenja time clip today, definitely a classic, so this clip lined up real well.
Thanks for the subs!
Iroha-chan truly is seiso
last bastion of seiso

lui: i'm not like koyokuro

I liked the part where Lui said “It’s Kenja Time!” and Kenja’d all over those guys.
Protect the seiso MonkaS
What are the cuties cooking? 🥰
