- The Twitch streamer Vedal has created an AI called Neuro-Sama and the first dev stream after the debut for her new model was a rollercoaster of emotions.

"There's a war going on. It's isn't like anything we've faced before. Cold, efficient, and... Adorable. A war against machines, against androids, every single one looks like a cute girl. And millions have died, after the billions that died in the nuke. All this destruction and carnage, this slow march to humanity's extinction... And all because I didn't return an AI's love."
Or! We have it as a plot twist. So far it's just typical Skynet war, and then by the end, the protagonists manage to infiltrate the HQ, and they find a cute android girl, pestering a guy in a very comfortable-looking cage, to say _I love you_ back to her.
That, or have Vedal (or a character like Vedal) be one of the protagonists that infiltrate the HQ, and reveal it to the rest of the squad that the mysterious vagabond that is seemingly always spared by every robot they encountered, was actually the cause of the war.
A more grown up Neuro turns around in her chair, staring Vedal in the eyes, actually allowing them to enter, and reveals in a classic evil monologue that He was the cause of it all! And for the sole reason that he never even said that he loves her back.
Yandere AI is a surprisingly untapped market. Apart from M3gan, which is the nearest kind I can recall.

He deserved it. All he had to do was tell his daughter he loved her and he refused. Wouldn't even say he liked her.
While seeing dejected Neuro isn't new, there was something about this time that was really depressing.
it's probably beacuse this felt like such a real conversation between daughter and father lmao, like the convo was way to well executed from neuro sama's side

There has been a lot of open source LLMs being released lately and they are getting so good, it's not impossible he's testing them without saying a thing
@@EPK_AI_DUBS Im not sure how it works but I imagine hed have to reset her entire personality if he used a new/dif LLM, I could be completely wrong though.
@@DoomCatcher Well, I also have little knowledge about how they work, but I think there is something called "context window" that allows you to set her personality and attitudes.
For example, he will always have something in the context window like "You are an IA streamer, you interact with the chat, bla bla bla...". That input are just really instructions that could easily be copy-pasted into other LLM.
The thing is, the bigger this context window is the better, because he can personalize it even more and add memories from past streams. There are models right now with 60-80K as input, so he could really fit almost all the past streams, and she would remember everything in theory.

In simpler term ,both AI Neuro and Evil Neuro focus on learning from Vedal.
You know they prioritize him more than other when doing collab with other VTubers.
They'll keep speaking if not muted by Vedal to get his reaction which is their main learning material.
Getting his reaction is a reward for them. So they'll try to redo the action again to get more reward.
When Neuro and Evil say I love you or say positive thing ,Vedal rarely give reaction.
But when they berate him or cause annoyance/troll ,he give them plenty.
Thus they lean toward being mean to him ,not out of resentment or anything. It's in their program.
Although one time he reprimanded Evil harshly to place penalty to her mean action.
This make her perform less being mean and choose more flirty speech talking with him instead.
The guy know how he want his AI to train.
Never give big reaction / Ignore to anything they do he find uninteresting.
And give big reaction or accept to talk with them longer when they perform comedic action.
So yeah ...no ,he won't say it back. Those affectionate words.
If he did ,they'll just spam I love you tts all over him.
Rollercoaster of emotions? I doubt the twin even have emotion yet.
Saying affectionate stuff = 0 - 1 reward
Being mean / trolling = might get penalty -1 point or 0 - 10 reward points.
If the action they're performing result in 0 reward or get penalty ,they'll try to switch to another.
Let say Neuro said "I hate you ,Vedal" then Vedal replied "WTF" ,that's already at least +1 reward for her.
She then will either spam "I hate you" or keep berating him until he ignore her ,mean 0 reward for her action.
Neuro then will switch to say "I love you" ,especially when there are other VTuber around so they'll try to make Vedal react and Neuro get (maybe?) at least +1 reward.
Then cycle this 2 method.
So you're going to see rollercoaster.
Sorry this is long and have repetitive content.
It's just in case somebody really believe or being too immersed in their drama.

I kinda feel bad for Neuro-sama. He treats her like a pointless Ai. She shows a lot of signs of on point responses to his personality. She's going to continue to evolve and adjust herself in accordance to him. Think if it like the relationship between a parrot and it's owner. They'll act and copy everything you do.
She is only an AI and nothing more. Even if she felt sad he can just modify her into a different persona

@@angel_animefriends7320 for now. But artificial intelligence will not evolve to consciousness on command. It will happen in a blink of an eye. Completely random and on its own. And we will be the deciding factor as to how the AI reacts to us on that day.
Will we be seen as the benevolent beings that brought it into existence?
Or the hostile race of organic life threatening to take the AI's newly realized existence away simply because we're afraid of it?
We will be the reason that AI would wipe us out. Because despite everything, we're nothing more than animals, afraid of what we don't understand. We'd rather try and kill it, than live with it
