My rx 570 shows up as a rx 580 now but games like apex run soomth (with freesync)

Hey Fabio, thanks for the great video! Can confirm that it worked for me on my RX 6800 XT with the "Extended" option pretty well, the "Enable" option caused my system to freeze multiple times even while on the Desktop.

Hy I use the 6800xt as well and lot of time crash in mw3. Now use again the 23.12.1 and the game stabil and run nice. No opinion for the rest of game COD don't like.

I have a question regarding the lack of anti-aliasing in games. This problem can be easily Googled without reference to the game, because people have problems everywhere, and some have changed their monitor, some have changed their video card, some have changed their laptop.
My problem appeared after switching from a BenQ T241WA 24" TN 1920x1200 (vga via dvi-i) to a Huawei SSN-24 24" IPS 1920x1080 (hdmi). Still on the old video card R9 380, in games such as Resident Evil 2 Remake or The Witcher 3, there was not enough anti-aliasing at the same settings (Medium-High and Ultra). I literally began to see a cloud of moving jagged lines.
A little later I bought a RX 6700 XT and started playing on ultra settings, and yet RE2 looked terrible. I had to turn up the render by 200% to get the same picture.
What’s funny is that in 2023 I almost stopped playing, and according to Steam statistics 25% is occupied by RDR2 (Ultra, x1.250).
Now I finally bought Sniper Elite 5 on Steam sale and my eyes were bleeding from the jagged grass and shadows. Shadows floating on the window shutters... (here are the proofs: pixeldrain com/l/onWT2Sh3 (replace the space with a dot))
I installed Sniper Elite 4, in which I previously played 185 hours in the story and survival co-op, and it’s the same...

i can not see any reason to install the modded amd driver on my 6800xt, or do i get it wrong? in the benchmark HAG on / OFF, with HAG OFF the 1% lows are better. Are there any benchmark with the modded driver and with the normal adrenalin driver for WArzone2 on the 6000series?

hey dude! thank you for your videos. i have a question maybe you know this problem. my system is 7800x3d / b650 Tomahawk / 6800 sapphire, i try all the drivers but i have a strange bug on all of them, when my pc wakes from sleep every time adrenaline is crashing,i cant even launch the adrenaline and my tuning settings get restore to default (even if my settings is default its get restore to default). really try everything and cant fix this. (i try the amerimne zone drivers , same result there) and the problem is only on display port, with hdmi connected to my monitor everything is ok, adrenaline works perfect.
Im using the 6700xt and the 23.12.1 version has no stream/record option did they remove support for that? 🤔
Hello. I bought a 7900XT that requires a connection with 3x8-pin power connectors, but my power supply has only 2 available PCIe outputs and one 12VHPWR. Therefore, I can't connect 3x 8-pin connectors. However, I can connect 1x12VHPWR split into 2x8-pin and one PCIe 8-pin to the GPU's 8-pin. Is this a good solution? My power supply is MPG A850G PCIE5.
My friend has an Rx 6900 xt graphics card, 24.1.1 mod driver, and every time I restart Windows 11, it gives the error that applications are denied access to the graphics card! hello mate really need help ive got a intel i9 9900k with a 6800 xt and im only getting 120 - 150 fps in fortnite got 32 gb of ram to but in task manager then only work to 25-30 percent any suggestions on all low settings already
i did try it. not stable on my end using rx 6600xt r5 5600. sometimes its blinking black and i cant move mouse when hags enable sadly 😢😢

I've got a 7900 XTX since recently and am wondering if I need to do anything to enable this, or is it just part of the latest adrenaline drivers? I'm actually using the Pro edition drivers atm because I was trying out some AI stuff with ROCm on Windows, but I notice they haven't been updated since like 06/2023. Can't say I have any performance complaints though, I literally haven't experienced lag in anything since I got this GPU lol, even at 4K ultra.
Just get the latest driver it is officially supported on the XTX.

I tried to install it on my rx 580 8gb and i did install the drivers as the first step but when i went to the console to enable the amd adrenaline interface it said fatal error package not detected or not installed properly

I have a 7900XT and see no difference HAGS on or off with 23.12.1 driver. If anything, I see a drop in FPS in MW3. Happy New Year to you all.

Are AMD RX 6000 series cards still able to use FSR 3 frame generation without Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduler? Its not a big deal anyway because you can sometimes get better performance with it disabled.
HAGS is not and was never needed for FSR3 and even the 5000 series can use it. They use Async computing
@@AncientGameplays Thats great news because I turn it off for some games. AMD just list the cards you state. I have been using DLSS 3 and FSR 3 frame Generation in Starfield.

Setup cli is kind of the advanced mode. This video shows it working, will it come officially or will it be beneficial? Hard to know until officially implementes

I have the latest driver for my 7900XTX and the idle power draw went up again. The previous driver was perfect for the idle power draw. What's up with that Amd?
it always happens when they try to bring new things. They still took away the Smart Access Memory profile for alan wake 2 that they had with the 23.11.1 drivers. I guess the 24.1.1 will bring those again
for me its the opposite with my 7800xt. with 23.12.1 my idle power went down. On the other hand I have issues with random black screens on the previous and new driver. Load doesn't matter and if its a game or just browsing.

Can we get some benchmarks with HAGS on vs off, with FSR3 frame gen in Avatar? Or AFMF enabled in other games? In your other video the difference in regular gaming seems like margin of error so I was wondering if Frame Gen benefited at all.

Yes, it will be a very good upgrade for you, but get sapphire or asrock instead of MSI. A 5600 will be much better as well ans your psu will be fine for now

Hey, i need some final advice. Would u say it would make more sense for 1440p 34' to go 7800x3d + 7800XT or 7600x + 7900XT? I have no clue which of the 2 options would be smarter. I guess going the 7600x + 7900XT route and wait for amd ryzen 7900x3d to launch next year possibly.

bro i would definitely go with the 2nd option because its still am5 so u can upgrade to better cpu in the future easily. and 7800x3d is kinda overkill for 7800xt. also 5800x3d is already out so im not sure what you mean.

i solved that issue by buying a New PSU. i upgraded it from 500w to 750w bronze 80+
Maybe your computer is freezing due to watt issue? Mine was resetting it

@@AncientGameplays It was the 23.12.1 drivers that had the compatibility issue with certain monitors. The 23.11.1 drivers didn't have the same issue.
What do you mean by grey screens? I just bought a second monitor for my current build.
@@AlejandroMartinez-yv1gh The screen just goes a blank squirrel-grey color (sometimes white or black as well), but as far as I can tell it only happens with a handful of monitors as my old 1080p monitor was just fine with basically the same feature set. I then reinstalled my previous drivers (23.11.1) which allowed me to use my 1440p monitor without issues.

Can some please tell me how to fix the errors 8A on the motherboard X670E Aorus Master ??? It only appears when I boot up or power on the pc. And sometimes when it enters in to the windows I don't have internet. I tried everything, 5 different types of bios and changed the cmos battery, fresh windows 11 and drivers. I even checked the memory ram in different configurations but all was ok with the ram. I don't know what to do anymore.
Its your ram, almost certain of that. Start by raising voltage to 1.39v and soc voltage to 1.3v. Ans of course, update bios before that. If that doesn't work, get a decent expo kit, they're cheap now

nobody could tell me what this driver brings to vega ... i know that it has the regedit hack for enabling rebar on vega, but i already have enabled this on my vega successfully with .reg file.

I dont even know when it dissappeared for me but with my 5600XT i dont even used this Setting in Years because it was never available on Windows for me. Okey on Enable and Extended it doesnt work.
A cavate with HAGS and 7000 series GPUS... It's only supported on Windows 11, at least as far as I can tell, as I, as well others with a 7900 XTX on Windows 10 do not have the option for HAGS. With GPUZ still reporting as "unsupported". Everything is fully updated, and I even did a fresh Windows install to see if I might have done something in the past to block it, but nope. If I'm missing something, someone please let me know.
I haven't been able to use the FMF driver since the Cyberpunk update, because it will not play for more than a few moments without crashing. Very upsetting.
Use the 23.11.1 AFMF modded drivers

That is still quite expensive. Got a 4tb nvme for 230 euros on amazon last year

Which 6750 XT model did you use? With my PowerColor Red Devil 6750 XT, using the "Extended" HAGS option on, every game I tested ran perfectly fine with no crashes, no abnormal stuttering or anything.
And you enabled it on Windows (HAGS)? I used the asrock Phantom Gaming

Warzone/MW3 has honestly never looked or played better. 180-245 fps consistently depending on location in map like water always makes frames drop, but 1 percent lows still steady above 165 most always....without afmf..
..I was using afmf but it completely quit working so I went back to current drivers 23.12.1, and in game settings either on low, or normal, and mostly all stuff set to OFF....Upscaling 1080 in game to 2560x1440 on rendering slider gives me this....fsr2.1 OFF.
Running native still goes steady above 175 to 185 more with less spikes and drops. But to me the RSR method I described first looks the same....so amazed at the game devs for once. Idk y most ppl have so many issues...maybe sometimes out dated hardware and system badly needing optimized...
But ur videos have been helping me for the last month or two when. I was having trouble finding the best combo of settings for me.
I liked the afmf drivers when it worked. I worked out the frame lag down to 2.9 ms by the time it became unusable from 8.5ms in the beginning. I wish they would implement already a stable version for rdna 2 cards bc I think it is better than RSR or Boost for warzone.
Nobody may agree with me there, but I figured out how to make it that way. I Should not have to spend more time adjusting and trying settings than playing a game tho....lol🎉😂😢
