About Gold Shaw Farm: Gold Shaw Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. We dream that someday we can transform our 150+ acre parcel of land into a regenerative and productive homestead and farm. - Розваги
So, I've had a swollen lymph node on my neck for about 2 months. I went to the specialist the other day, and he told me it's most likely cancer. As you can guess, this news is very stressful. However, being at the homestead and doing chores puts my mind at peace. There is nothing more relaxing than being outside.
i wish you as full and complete a recovery as possible!
I pray for you to have a complete recovery. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💕🌞🤗
@@hitsujiyume Thank you ❤️ I'm only 20 I should have a good Fighting Chance.
Good luck with your procedure. You are way too young for this.
Get a biopsy ASAP so you'll know for sure. I'll pray for you to make a full recovery.
I love how Abby's all like, "Dad's back! Love me and pay attention to me!!!" while Toby Dog is all, "Move outta the way dad, gotta re-mark my territory!"
Right?? Totally agree lol.
Toby is definitely the epitome of a working dog and Abby is a perfect representation of a companion dog, who can learn a job for sure😂❤
@@Aunty87 shes a pet. She doesn't have the temperament.
@@beejlsanimals do have their own temperament and emotions. There’s several scientific studies proving so plus, when you spend time with all of them you learn the different quirks and personalities they all have.
Thank you. As a person who has huge allergies to all things dander and pollen and dust it is a complete joy to watch you and your farm operate, the sounds the sights are awesome and I am spared the smells and itching. You rock Mr. Gold. And my heart hurts for your grief regarding Molly Murder Mittens. She was(is) an awesome being who was so lucky to have you and your beautiful wife to spend her life with. Much love and healing energies to you and yours ❤💔❤
That's great that you can live through the channel.
Try raw milk to eventually get rid of the allergies and exoerience a little farmlife by yourself.
Raw milk? I've tried experiencing farm in the past and suffered greatly. I'd be happy just to have a cat. I have no food allergies at all Dander, mites, and straw and hay puts me out of commission for a week.

Great video! Streamed it on TV to my mom, who doesn't speak a word of English... She was asking all sorts of questions and was like "How do you know all that? He's not saying anything!" I had to tell her the Morgan of GoldShawn farm story 😂
That warms my heart!
@gabipo44 I love your comment. Please tell your mom hello from Central Florida. ❤
Sometimes you just have to watch and listen! ❤❤❤ Glad your mom got a kick out of the video. My mom would have also
@@lindagardenladyllllll
Thanks! Brought back memories of 75 years ago of chickens, pigs and a cow that were all prolific producers to a poor farm family. What great, quite memories. Needed it, after being sick and now feeling better!
Glad you are doing better. 🤗🌞
I know what you mean.
My new 5 month old tortie kitten, Nadja is your new biggest fan❤❤ She's gets super close to the big screen to watch the chickens and you petting your cats. The ending had me tearing up because I feel your heart break with you. I still hope for Molly's safe return but if that cannot be, I wish peace for everyone. We love you. This was an amazing video. ❤❤ Sending the biggest hugs 🤗🐈⬛🐈🤗
Taking care of animals can be such a rewarding experience.
Agreed!
Blue skies and sunshine with tranquil animals sounds from the farm. Beautiful serene video, thank you.
The cows were MONCHIN! So cute! Thanks for sharing 😊
I must say you have a great talent for editing your videos. Very enjoyable. Thank you. The birds always quack me up. ❤️
😂😂😂
Noticed Abby was not wearing her e-collar during chicken training. She is progressing so nicely. Yay, Lady Abington!!!!
That was such a zen video. Thanks Morgan. I think I sensed a Molly remembrance in that last porch scene, at least it did for me and I teared up.😢
And a helpful bite from Pablo to keep us all present!
Hands down my favourite video in a long time. Just watch animals living their best lives is endlessly entertaining.
If you aren't feeling like coming up with episode scripts etc, this is fantastic idea.
May these video persist even after your grief has subsided.
I admire a man who knows chores build both soul and character. The harder, the better and the greater the character.
Thanks for that. I needed the motivation to get outside and spread that 18 cubic yards of wood chips on my driveway. Been putting it off too long!
I didn't realize just how much I needed to listen to just farm sounds after a long day of work, university classes/homework and appointments. It helped me relax! Thank you!
These are my favorite kind of videos you make. No drama, no politics, just good ol' farm life, plain and simple.
The ducks and geese are always talking -- I wonder what they're saying to each other --
Really enjoyed the farm chores -- there's such simple beauty all over the farm. take a closeup of the grasses and there's so much more there. Thanks, Morgan!
all choring is good for your soul.... independently caring for your family and your community is a spirit filling experience. You become closer to nature the way it is supposed to be.
What a great video! So many youtubers yammer on and on but you realize that "silence is golden" when accompanied by beautiful scenery and the serenity of just observing a vast variety of animals. Keep up the great work!
Theres a few channels i avoid like the plague because they talk entirely too much about absolutely nothing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@GoldShawFarm
I'm currently on SSDI for depression and anxiety. Your videos are part of my private wellness regime. I've also used food as my go-to remedy, so your journey has been an inspiration to me. Thank you and your supporting cast and family for making a difference in others lives.
Happy Monday Morgan! It’s amazing how the little things in life makes you feel accomplished throughout the day 😊
Can I just compliment you on how well you care for your dogs' coats, Morgan? I am a dog groomer and I can tell a matted, stained white coat when I see one. Your two dogs coats look amazing! And don't get me wrong, it is SO easy for a dog of that colour and coat type to get into that state, when they do what they do. But it takes a lot of work to keep them from getting that way. The coat of the Maremma is design to shed dirt, but when it gets as wet and muddy as your two's do, then it takes a lot of brushing to ensure that coat dries all the way through, so it doesn't mat and stain. Once a coat is stained, there is little way to get it white again, just pain-staking grooming and waiting for the stained areas to shed out. Usually, when I see any working dog walk in my front door (I groom many working farm dogs,) I can tell without touching their coat if it has mats. I had to spend nearly four hours, last week, preparing a Newfoundland for transport to another country and she could not go in the state that she was. There is too much that a matted coat hides (fungal infection of the skin, ectoparasites, invasive plant seeds, invasive microscopic organisms) and these could prove to be a phytosanitary risk.
I've never groomed a working farm dog. Thanks for the info!
@@Meeker128-Amy You've got to find one with experience, who knows the way to properly work with a double-coated dog (most working breeds are double-coated; it helps to protect them from the elements,) so that you don't end up with something disastrous like a shaved-down dog. A decent groomer will know you never shave a dog with a double coat, except in very few, emergency situation, when there is no other choice. But a well-cared-for breed should never need this, apart from in a few medical circumstances.
After the morning work drama (Mondays, right? remember those lol), nothing better than a quiet farm life video to keep me company for lunch. Very meditative.
It's a time to sit still and JUST watch and listen! Even my pup's head popped up to listen to this video!! Great moment Morgan, thk you!
Hi Morgan!! Much love to you, allison, and your farm!! (esp. toby dog)
Just got my book yesterday. Over half done already! Finish this afternoon! Can’t wait.
That was like a Weird Chicken Moment of Zen for the whole farm! I feel like you're responding to my cheeky comment about how I tune in to see the animals more than you (by which I meant not to worry about being sad about Molly - I still enjoy seeing the animals). And I miss Molly too, so it was extra heart warming to see Ginny on the cow marshmallows and Pablo come to sit on your lap. ❤
These are my favourite videos. The animals, the sounds it‘s just soooo nice. Would love to get more of these
Beautiful morning to get the farm chores done. I see you are preparing for winter with the feed for the cows, time is passing quickly for sure. Thanks for sharing Morgan, hope you have a Great Day!
Such a wonderful zen moment! And a beautiful memorial for Molly Murder Mittens! 🐈⬛
Be well, friend. 😢❤
You're one of the best story teller of UA-cam, but the odd "Gold Shaw Farm moment of Zen" is nice too! Thank you! (Just a bit sorry that you are still down one barn cat...)
Porch moments with the cat are precious
Awesome video. I'm not really sure why, but I like it when you use your tractor. One tip. As a former freight warehouse owner... Drop the hay near the trailer so the hay driver can leave sooner. You'll have all the time you want after he's gone to drive back and forth stacking it, and he gets to do more deliveries in shorter time.
Good tip!
Loved the video and all of the activities and chores!
Hint: Pablo probably bit you as a reminder that he, like most cats, enjoy full-hand stroking along their backs to the tail, but not scratching with fingers. It is the same for cats who present their stomachs for attention: stroke with a hand, do not scratch with fingers.
Hi Morgan, this is one of my favorite videos. I enjoyed following along on your farm chores and listening to the sounds of the farm. 🥰 The firewood stacked on the porch and the hay delivery looks like you are ready for winter. My heart hurt seeing only two cats coming to breakfast. Molly Murder Mittens is missed. 💝 Take care and Happy Fall 🍁🎃🍂🍁
Morgan, I love this video. It's interesting that "pastoral" means both 'relating to farms/cows/sheep' and 'concerning spiritual guidance.' I hope the peace of your farm comforts your soul.
Hi Morgan from U.K. love the Quacks running around with full crops 🦢🦤🐔♥️🤣and a lovely Morning 🙂
After losing a dear family member, this has been a wonderful comfort and equalizer. Thanks.
I know I suggested this kind of video after molly went missing, I’m so glad its actually here ❤
That barn is freakin' gorgeous. I keep thinking about the parties I would organize upstairs!
I know, I’m so jealous!! One day…
Be the perfect place for some farm to table events.
Such a beautiful morning!
YOU HAVE A HEART OF “SOUL”….and that’s why your channel grows‼️⭐️
Hmmmm farm chores, my favorite behind Zen weird chickens. Edit: Weird chicken Zen and farm chores. You spoil us this time for sure, Morgan.
Damn ... this was the most relaxing 20 minutes I've spent these last couple of days.
It was a joy to watch all the animals eating! Not only eating but their joy in being fed. Much to be thankful for as you care for your animals and farm.
Squidward: “Oh please I have no soul!” *evil demon laugh*
First comment I see
Thank you Morgan for these quiet videos. It helps my ADHD racing mind. So sorry about Molly Murder Mittens, I am still hoping she turns back up on the farm or at least in a dream lets you know that she is okay.
I love farm chores. Even the gross unenjoyable ones I still enjoy. I love being productive and staying busy and constantly being on my feet. Hard work is good for the soul😁
Nature's sweet narration 😊. So meditative. Love your narration too Morgan. Both are refreshing. Such a lovely day for it. ❤
Enjoy the fruits of your labor. The things you’ve learned, experienced and accomplished on the journey toward your goal!
One of my favorite videos of yours. So peaceful. “The man who likes to stroke the cat must not mind her scratch”. - old Russian proverb. But if you don’t overstimulate them they won’t bite 😂
Thank you for showing clips of your farm and chores. Living in a city I don't have alot of outlets to calm or relax my mind. Watching your videos calms me and puts a part of my soul at ease. Please continue with these videos, would love to see more of this slice of life at a farm 🐕🐈🐄🐖🐤💕😍✨
I wanna be the very best farmer there ever was! Raising ducks is my quest, protect them is my cause! Morgan Gold! Gotta farm it all!
Chickens drinking water was so calming
So sweet at the end, when you were bonding with Pablo barn cat 🐾 then
Pablo gives you his love bite 🤭
What a beautiful day. Your animals are so relaxing to watch.
Love this format. Don't feel obligated to always have to do a video where you talk all the time. I'd love to see more of these
All farm panorama with no narrative drama. Perfect.
If you had a video of just the ducks, geese, and chickens just chatting with each other, I would be content. I would play it as background noise while I work from home.
Thank you very much for sharing these 20 minutes of peace and beauty.
These videos are so relaxing to watch! All of the animals look so happy. I bet Toby was happy to be brushed.
Heart AND soul benefited. Your's AND mine. Thank you.
My favorite are these calmer videos where I can just relax and look at the animals doing their thing. ❤
This is my favorite reality show❤
I absolutely LOVE how much affection you show your dogs. Thank you! They work hard.
Thank you - yes farm chores are very good for the soul. I appreciate you sharing this with us
The learning curve of you on the tractor is real.
I was just thinking, "Ahh, that Pablo moment of zen." and then he bites you. 🙂
Just an absolutely wonderful day at your Gold Shaw Farm.
If only you could feel how much this means to me, to watch. My life is one that nobody should endure, with much pain and heartache; and yet, my heart is uplifted when watching this today.
Thank you so much for sharing with us.
That's a LOT of hay! So satisfying seeing all of these chores getting done.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - these types are videos are like ASMR and super relaxing to watch after a long days work. Thanks again for these!
Listening to Toby Dog od GS Farm gives me a special connection to Tobey and Lil barn cat.
I love these calm and serene videos. They remind me of how times might’ve been for my grand and great grandparents, they warm the soul..😊
I love these videos Morgan! So peaceful and beautiful watching all your happy animals. I especially loved Abby being so excited for pets and Toby zipping past you to pee 😂 had me chuckling out loud.
Great camera work
I do love watching you do chores and seeing the animals. The ending with Pablo had me 😂, such a cat. 🤣😂
thank you Morgan, your content always hits when and where I need it the most. I'm sorry about Molly, she will forever be murdering in our hearts
I truly enjoy these quiet morning videos, it's incredibly soothing. 😌
every sound is enchanting
I adore the peacefulness of your farm.
Hope you're doing okay! Loved the chill video!
Many thanks.
I is a person who grew up in the village, I watch your videos with some nostalgia. You have a very cool farm, well done 👍
I will be watching and re-watching this, like so many of your videos. This one is one long, gorgeous zen. The beautiful shots are carefully planned, even though they appear smooth and effortless, and you have given us hints of the care it takes to set them up. This video is indeed joyful, with showers of other emotions. Thank you for the gift.
I think animals make people happy!
Thanks for sharing brings back memories. Love the new barn just beautiful.
So that is how get the hay for winter. HAY!
Ginny also says: My castle for winter!
after the drama of last week, this was very soothing on the soul. Toby's hair is wow...
Thank you for the view into your mornings… the calm and peaceful undertaking of your chores and visits with your animals…. I was desperately hoping to see Molly pop up somewhere…. And will continue to wish for her safe return…
Really enjoyed this video. I enjoy your stories too, but it's nice to just see the farm animals and you doing your chores
I love your new barn. Loved this quiet vlog.
Thanks so much 😊
I love the morning glories around the old barn
I read that if you feed cats chicken eggs from chickens that have been exposed to cats it will significantly decrease the allergens in cat saliva, as someone who is allergic to cats with access to both chickens and cats Morgan should try it 😊
Ooo yes I heard about that too-way to put 2 & 2 together!!! This would be an interesting experiment for Morgan to try!!
Beautiful, Morgan. This video is very relaxing. Thank you! The piggies are sure enjoying the apples.
Love our little place here too. Working hard, getting dirty, harvesting, canning and preserving our own food, so satisfying. Glad you’re all well in Vermont.
This is your first loss of a family pet. The first I lost my first lab I wait ten years to get another one. But a much shorter time to get the third one. When I had to put him down I got a rescue six weeks later. I found that I had to remember the love and joy and how much I wanted that again. I loved them all but zi would not have had the next one without the loss of the one before. Cheer up. You are feeling your feelings which is new for you. We are all here for you. Love you so muvh
I just found your Channel and was so Psyched to see you are in Peacham because I love that area. I used to live in Sheffield. I grew up in Connecticut and lived in VT for a couple of years but the cold was too much for me! 😂 This Flatlander lived off the grid in a Tiny cabin built in the 1960s that used to be a hunting cabin . It was a weekend getaway until I got divorced and moved there. After a winter with a ton of snow and it got down to -30 degrees I had enough! 😅 Peacham is so Pretty. My parents and I went to a craft show on the green. Then we drove around and as we were looking at 2 Beautiful Horses in a field we saw a couple of Moose! Got lots of pic of the two . I love your farm and Im so sorry about your Kitty. This video was Awesome ❤❤❤❤
❤ thank you Morgan
Watching your videos helps calm me down after a day of "breaking news". Just drinking my tea and chilling out on your farm.
sorry not on telegraph twitter or any others just You Tube@@Gold-shaw-farm-
I love to just watch. The animals and what they are doing. Videos like this are so calming.
Thank you for sharing with us this beautiful energy!
Good self care my dude we will still be here when your able ❤❤❤
