the fact they left the workers to die after they helped build the arks was the biggest dick move in history.
Pretty realistic to, sadly
this is realistic as fuck
ever heard of taj mahal?
Should’ve included a scene with them throwing the “leaders” overboard
Hopefully if something similar happens in real life, the workers turn the arks into drowning prisons if they are not allowed in.
This movie is hilarious because almost all of humanity dies except for the 1% elites. The ending is painted as so hopeful even though among only the worst of humanity survived
If u watch fully, the government said, elites are chosen because of natural selection plus they dont want poor people (lower iq) to continue humanity legacy
They are doomed anyways, do you think they had a crisis afterwards when they realised they have no idea how to do anything themselves?
It’s called predictive programming. When a global cataclysmic event inevitably occurs, you know damn well 90% of the people who will survive it will be shitty rich people.
Someone hates the rich lol
@@cccspwn Him hating the rich and him being right arent mutually exclusive, you know
Yuri was a jerk but at least he died for his children.
And saved a looot of people with his "rebelion"
You can’t call someone a “jerk”, if at times you yourself have been one.
Unless you’re just a hypocritical jerk???
he has the same style wirh John Jacob Astor 6 in Titanic and 3 millionaires in Ocean Gates. He chose to live rich and be respected but he knew that when bad things happened, they’d choose to sacrifice their life for other people since they live long enough and good enough. For them, living 60 years totally happy is better than living 100 years with poverty.
A jerk…she cheated…….
Yuri's voice... is like someone took all the annoying voices you've heard in your life and put them into one person.
What I always found weird is why they didn’t just fortify the mountain itself.
Sure water would have gotten in at some interval, but building a reinforced bio dome in the mountain, with the arks as a second plan, would be the best course of action imo
They barely finished building the Arks by the time the apocalypse arrived, I assume they wouldn't have time to build a dome (even though that would probably work) so they bet on the safest option which was the Arks
because you can't really stay on a mountain in Tibet for long. They only built there because it was completely hidden. But they would eventually need to leave to find somewhere to stay. In crisis, mobility is always better
Bro the earth core is unstable and you wanna what
Build some shit in the mountains 🤣

This is that how sick this world is if you only wanna survive something like this you have to be rich and only the wealthy people live while the rest die.
If there were no rich people you wouldn't survive anyway.
when there were no rich people 26000 years back during the last supervolcano, people just died with no information on where to go. 70k years back almost full of india died from a volcano.

The fact that the workers who created the arch were being left behind and not only were they forced, some even decided to leave their jobs and go with the people who payed tickets says a lot.
It's a movie. Says zero except what the writers wrote. HELLO, MCFLY?😅
@@GreyMatterEnergyin real life too same would have happened
@@soumyasinha2783 Real life... shake your head
The hilarious part about this movie is the only ones remaining are almost entirely made up of the filthy rich, which would pose a huge problem in the aftermath since most of them don't know how to do shit on their own.
The billionaires precisely possess many more skills than the poor, and that's why they don't have to work 12 hours a day for $2000. In the movie, it's precisely the wealthy who finance the ships. I see a lot of crybabies in the comments hating billionaires
@@huntersawThey didn't do jack to earn their wealth. They only inherited what their ancestors built from their own hard work. I'm willing to get none of these people would last a week living in poverty like conditions. And the the government should of set the elite into underground bunkers away from the flood while the arks were used to safeguard as many ordinary citizens as possible.
Stop sucking off the cocks of those who wouldn't lift a finger to help you. Realistically speaking, it is more essential for the survival of humanity that scientists, doctors, teachers and engineers be saved before even the elite.
@@huntersaw It's not about Rich vs. Poor it's about the exploitation of the worker.
You're making this claim that without the drive of money that they wouldn't even be able to spend anyway, the skilled laborers wouldn't have been able to build the Arks that the 1% was never even going to let them on to begin with.
There is a better way, and you're just grass before a mow when the people realize they have the power to demand it.
That is lampshaded in "Don't Look Up" when the rich survivors walk out naked on an alien planet and get eaten.
@@huntersawcan you hear yourself? Do billionaires know how to make houses ,do they know construction,do they know how to use construction machines ,what if they got sick do they know how to make medicine or perform surgery?
In Reality, you need Engineers, Doctors and such...you need people who can actually REBUILD the society...not billionaires who exploited people all their lives.
Exactly. I'd love to see a movie where an ark of rich assholes try to rebuild the world and realize if only the 1% survive, 99% of them are no longer the 1%
Yep - Just because you have money doesn't mean that you are smarter.
That's something Deep Impact and Greenland got right: when it came to selecting who would be saved, they prioritized essential people over the elite. Engineers, doctors and teachers and their families were chosen and evacuated first to safety shelters that were created underground to withstand a comet impact.
Yah the one guy has issues with this, they said they gather people with good genes to repopulate but we can clearly see old rich people 😂
1. Engineers & Doctors are part of the 1% and 2. The elites are successful for a reason, they can live without the 99% of idiots that dont work smart

Gordon’s a nerd
No they killed him because the woman just HAD to bond with the absent father because its the end of the worls
Poor Gordon 😢
The thing i always wondered was that it seemed the majority of the survivors are the 1% whom also seems to be over 50 and probably have not done any manual work in years if not decades and lived in a life of luxury where they had servants or lackeys to do the work , how are these people supposed to re start the human race , i say more than likely the remaining humans would of died out within 100 years
Ummm... the engineers and workers inside the ships? 🙄

The funniest thing about the movie is that they could have saved a bunch of money and trouble had they just moved to Africa, as the movie states, didn't got hit by the waves at all lol
considering drakensberg is 11k feet while mount everst is 29k feet, this means the africa continent rose around 20k feet in a few hours, the earthquake over there is probably relative or more extreme than the one that destroyed california, so I doubt anyone would be alive if they were there

It’s actually pretty unwise to have just the wealthiest people of humanity survive in an apocalypse no matter what kind it is.
Most will likely have a lack of adaptability then anybody else because they’re too used to a comfortable lifestyle.
They are also the most likely to betray each other easily, rather than actually working together.

God Promised we would never be wiped out by a flood
People hate this movie, the fact that it is really based on the reality that if this happens, all those rich politicians, rich businessmen, and all the rich people will surely survive. because of power and money.
They were willing to leave the poor, the workers, the man who discovered that the world was coming to an end in the first place (satnam). If this were to happen in real life I have no doubt this is exactly how it would go.
Damn this movie was anxiety inducing
Now that I think about it, this movie reminds me of that one Marvel The End comic book run with The Punisher Frank Castle. It's a post-apocalyptic world where Frank Castle finds an underground bunker full of the 1% elite who have means of resurrecting humanity. Castle decides to brutally kill them all an with it destroys the human race. He then walks out in the radiation zone and dies from the fallout. Better death than control again.
Couldn’t he resurrect humanity himself?

You could never get something so big off the ground, let alone in space.
Looks like someone doesn't understand how propulsion and thrust works. If they had large enough and powerful enough engines, with enough fuel, and were pointed upwards, they absolutely could launch them, gravity isn't a very strong force, even you can defy it for a brief moment by simply jumping.

I don't have much of a problem with the rich being the ones saved since that's reality there but when considering if they could rebuild the civilization in the aftermath it's unreasonable to bring the old one's who'll likely to be dead weight when the time comes like yes you could bring a couple for their experience and knowledge but most if not all should be at their prime.
