I am dreading this job. You made it seem like a piece of cake. I always worry when it comes to timing belts. if you do them wrong, you can damage the engine. if you would have shown a bit more in depth, I would feel little more at ease to try. I have done many hard jobs, I dot know why this crap scares me.

Do you need to remove the timing for the water pump?

I'm not sure , there might be a idler that mounts to the pump houseing. If bnb ut were me and I was already tha deep in i would replace the pump. Thanks for watchin besure to like and subscribe for more helpful tips and tricks.

I need to replace the part that the thermostat sits inside of (with the 90 degree hose). Does the intake manifold have to come out? i see the two bolts are long so i don’t know if it’ll hit when trying to take them off. TIA

I'm not sure I've never replace that pipe before ,why are you replacing the housing is it leaking?

Jesus Christ I just got an 06” from a friend of mind that Is wrecked in the front. I removed the radiator and AC condenser and I’m about to pull the wreck straight but I think I should go ahead and put a water pump and timing belt in it while I’ve got the access.

You *crank/ turn engine over* ever so SLIGHTLY...A MILLISECOND...it should loosen the crank bolt....o GOOD STRONG battery Impact will do it too...I use the Ridgid r86211...monster impact
