Is there only stick rotation technique or martial arts technique because I have never seen in any war method
Please develop a tutorial series on Silambam for women and men to learn, it was really a great video about a traditional martial art that is being lost in time.

Alone1am bro the reason is 800 yrs North India was a battle ground fighting all Islamic invasions..Living and fighting with the invaders for so long made them so much like them in traits..Universities like Nalanda was destroyed by Islamic Invaders..Patgan,Mughal,Turk,Mongols and wt not...real Indian culture was saved in South and thrived while it got lost with time in North..its our duty to again bring back the past glory....every Indian Men and Women should come back to our rich heritage and preserve it..

But also in defense of north India, British systematically blasted each and every gurukul of martial arts in north with cannons, after 1757. The fictionalized account of the events in these gurukuls are mentioned in the book Anandamath by BankimChandra Chatterjee. Read if you can. Also it is well sculpted in the ruins of Bihar, that Samrat Ashoka was a master of Silambam. This art form was there in whole India. But systemic invasion and destruction finished it all....I wish they should include this in syllabus in whole India. Really really this needs more attention.

But, such women are rare and I add this vibrant martial woman to that list. You have displayed the artistic beauty of Silambam with its potent striking power. Art ,speed, flow and strength blend together to make a true visual magic. Wonderful!

firstly let me thank you for all your efforts towards Indian traditional self defense technique. Definitely you will become a role model for all youngsters. i would like to suggest you, it would be a great idea if you can start teaching the ancient Indian art & i would say its a hidden treasure which is gifted by god to all Indians. please do let us know if we have any training institutes located in Hyderabad so that interested aspirants would attend the sessions to protect the only Indian treasure .
