Yes it is. Annapolis is only about 30 miles from DC. MD, DC & Northern VA is kind of considered the "DC Metro area". I need to get back to Annapolis as the last time I went I didn't have time to tour the US Naval Academy.
Yeah I think I saw two throughout the video and another academy's cadet (I think West Point but could be wrong) they do a semester trading thing where a certain number of cadets/midshipmen will go to a different academy for that semester

At West Point years ago, there was a malnutrition problem among first year cadets. Upperclassmen were not allowing the cadets to eat their noon meal as a form of hazing. This resulted in cadets fainting in classes due to low blood sugar. A very powerful Senator was touring the dining hall and saw this hazing and the huge amount of food being wasted. He turned to the Superintendent and told him he was wasting tax payers money and wanted it stopped immediately. It was and the problem disappeared.
Much snappier than their USMA counterparts. It's nice to see they actually march to their noonday meal.
