been riding 5 days a week for over 3 years with this thing installed. never had any problem with it. phone is secure, the charging works every time, my phone has no damage, the mount doesn't shift position, phone height is adjustable so it doesn't hit the side buttons, i park outside on the street near wet market with dirt, salt water, rain, bird shit, etc, it is still working.
Funnily enough I was looking for a solution for wireless charging recently. And made one for $30 using the original xgrip. Though this seems to be a robust option. Spending $130 and well over is far too much for a solution. When others could be had for much less money.
I've been looking at nfc charging options for my ip68 phone while kayaking. These pads look interesting. But how waterproof is the USB connection in the wire run from the usb to the other plug to the hardwire kit?
After years of bitching about spending 60 bucks to hold my cell phone and the fact that I ride to get lost sometimes, I convinced myself that I don't need one. Well I finally pulled the trigger and bought one about 4 months ago and I used it once LOL.

Sorry but after using the Quadlock wireless charger I’ll never be going back to RAM. It’s so much cleaner to look at it and is adequately secure.
Quadlock wireless charger
The vibration on those damages the cameras on the iPhone model.
Does this hardwire to a truck starter?

You could probably achieve the same if you connect your battery to your phone through a USB cable. Both do the same thing
Water dude. Water. If it gets in the charging port - No Beuno... Hence wireless, waterproof charging.
Quad lock all day long. Why lose your phone?
Not ugly at all. Slim. Better than a contraption and a rubber band.
Beware that the Quadlock rigid mounting system will cause vibration transmitted directly from bike and damage the phone camera
Soon Haur Teo and you know this how. I’ve used the quad lock since 2017 - zero problems with my IPhone camera.
@@terry4343 great! The newer phones are not so lucky though.
Soon Haur Teo personal opinion or facts. I deal in facts.
"wireless"
unless you got some space grade 5ft wireless charging system at hand, this is as "wireless" as youre gonna get
