Honestly there are so many good double sided lightsabers in the game. My personal favorite to use isn't double sided but is the Tarnux's Battlestaff which is a pike from the Cartel market. It has such a great design and even without the lightsaber blade it looks like it can be used as an effective weapon.

Honestly, i feel like the "Onderonian Force lords saberstaff" deserves to be on this list, because it is one of the few, that you wear on your back, the hilt is very long and the blade goes through those rings that are attatched to the emitter. It's very thin blade is also rather unique.
I remember when i played this i had the stronghold defenders saberstaff on my shadow. Made a sweet distinct sound when activated. Like the saber was on the hunt for blood lol

It's a large hilt, with ornate, elaborate carvings on it. The colour-scheme is simple, but notable. It feels like a very elegant saber, and I love it to death.
Can we expect videos for Top 10 [Insert Blaster Type]? E.g. pistols, rifles, auto-cannons, etc? As a returning player, these are nice little tastes of some of the cosmetics that have come out over the years! Love it!
Though Tselemel was my first main on starfordged a kinetic shadow, I created my new main a serenity shadow named Foreshadow cause I've fallen in love with the serenity shadow. You should have more subs. I am just now getting into this game and your videos are very welcoming to new players. You should consider doing flash point and or boss fight guide walkthroughs.
I use both the Volatile Conqueror's Lightsaber & Dualsaber myself, though I have a few other single-blade saber options unlocked for my account, like one of the exposed crystal lightsabers. :) I really want an Executioner's Maw and/or Executioner's Warstaff though. :P

Way back in the day, when you had to pick your Advanced Class at level 10, you would be granted the Advanced Class Gear Box, which would supply you with the correct weapon and/or offhand that you needed. The Shadow's gear box came with two unmodifiable offhands (a shield and a focus), and the Worn Doublesaber. It shares its model with the Promulgated dualsaber you mentioned from the PvP vendor, but it's ALSO a match to the dualsaber Satele Shan wears on her hip in her various cutscenes in the base game. As far as I'm aware, the devs have never updated those cutscenes, even though the CM Satele Shan's dualsaber has been in the game for some years, now.
There are a few different variations of the “conqueror’s saberstaff”. “Volatile” “energized” “overcharged” etc. the descriptor tells you what effect is on the blade. For example energized is a clean stable blade with those nice flares right at the emitter. Others will have the wavy, sputtering or pulsing blades. The saber hilt itself is animated. When holstered it is solid metal and slightly shorter. When you draw it the two grips and the guards telescope out with each grip now showing a glowing section that matches your crystal. It’s not a huge effect and easy to miss. It’s nowhere near as obvious as some of the pikes. Plus your hands rest on the glowing bits making them hard to see. I wish more sabers had those variant types. Especially the energized blade effect, which looks really good.
As always my thanks, swtorista. This has helped me find a saber for my shadow. Though I am sad that none of the onderonian sabers were here. They are very ornate and beautiful in my opinion.
The best looking lightsabers is the class lightsaber you get by finishing the starting planet. Sure, Lord Kallig's lightsaber is also good looking as well.

I don't dislike double bladed lightsabers, but it would ne nice to have a choice for shadow and assassin. i like them as characters but I would love playing them with single saber...
A lot, or maybe most, of the attacks/abilities of the shadow/assassin wouldn't make any sense with a single bladed light saber. They would have to re-animate everything just because of that...

You know what I have learned when playing as a Shadow or the Assassin? You can use single-bladed lightsabers when you to get to Level 75. You get those unique lightsabers from looting a dead body with the green arrow on them with a rating of 272, 274 and 276? You can use them and I know this because if you go on to the Abilities page by pressing the letter P and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Shadow and Assassin abilities, you will notice it there if you look closely
@@coolrank12 All consulars begin using a single lightsaber. It was when specializing as a Shadow that they were taught (and forced) to use a double-bladed saber. Most attacks rely on this weapon, so a single one wouldn't let you use them.
I used to use a Zez-Kai Ell's double bladed saber on my shadow until I picked up a devastor's they are very similar, but the devastor's has that cool glow on the center crystal.
I've always been a fan of the Truthseeker and Zez-Kai Ell's double-bladed lightsaber. There's two different kinds of both, and I like the one with the blue gem in the hilt.
Check out the Hermit's Polesaber, I think it used to come from Galactic Command crates. It's a double-bladed version of Senya's lightsaber in KOTFE cutscenes. Sadly, she doesn't actually have that lightsaber equipped when you have her as a companion, and there's no single-hilt version for players either. There's also the Eternal Championship one which has that awesome Zakuul aesthetic and colors, but with light coursing through the hilt that matches the blade. Those two are my favorites for a Jedi, for Sith I love the Assassin's dualsaber that you showed and the Cartel Market one which is basically a metal blade with a small lightsaber blade sticking up into it. Closest thing I could get to a pike, and hey, some Sith prefer the feel of metal cutting flesh.
Sadly I consider those weapons as unobtainable now so I didn't even look in to considering them :( The eternal one is pretty neat but the cool effects i not nearly visible enough compared to the other weapons in that collection!
@@Swtorista Yeah, I hate when they just delete certain reward methods from the game, along with any chance of getting new copies of those rewards. One of the worst parts of this game, how they have absolutely no regard for older weapons, armor, etc.
That Descendant's Heirloom one sure is fancy-looking, but you know that thing gets snagged on your clothes every time you try to draw it. I personally like simple shapes, so I picked up the Desolator's Starforged Lightsaber and Dualsaber. They also have a nice muted lower-tone when in use, which gives them an extra unique bit of character. When all is said and done, though your aesthetic choices are your own, so pick whatever it is that you like.
Twisted Fang Dualsaber is my favorite, i just don't need anything else anymore. I am also using Eternal Purple Eviscerating Crystal and Executioner Lightning Weapon Tuning. (all my assassins wearing them and i am content with this choice).
I got the Volatile Conqueror's Saberstaff ages ago, it has bright flares of power spikes and rippling waves of power running down it, even without tuning it is still my fav saber
I have a question, is there any point in buying weapons from the Cartel market? You get them at like equipment level 8 and the min-max damage is quickly out done by equipment you get while leveling. Is there any way to improve the equipment level/damage values that I'm not aware of, or are they strictly cosmetics?

okay so originally i googled light sabre crystal colours because the one i bought recently didnt look good, that somehow bought me to a reddit page that bought me here...now ive ended up buying a new light sabre entirely because of the twisted fang haha

Sadly no. It's a big player request but the devs said it's difficult to add. You can "fill" the lightsaber with modifications though, if not transmog it.

Nice !! I own a few of these as I main a consular shadow, but I still use, The Shadowsaber !! I got it when Rakata gear was BIS and when they used to name hilts. So its not visually impressive, nor does it sport any fancy visual artefacts. I got it for the name :P :P

@Swtorista well in that case. I was wondering if BW actually changed some dialogue options for specific races. Like, if you’re a pure blood sith, if you then on Korriban get different interactions or dialogue in scenes.
@@xsXRevanXsx It changes some things the NPCs say to you. First that comes to mind is on Korriban sith warrior, you talk to a pure blooded sith and if you chose to flirt with her she says two different things depending on if you're sith pureblood species or not.

How do you get Satele Shan's dual saber? I've seen the single handed saber on the Cartel Market but haven't seen the dual.
I still use my Overtuned Derelict Double Bladed with the Lightning Tuning since I got it all those years ago. I have yet to find something better.

Is there any way to improve the equipment level/damage values that I'm not aware of, or are they strictly cosmetics?
Hi! The weapons from the cartel market are PURELY COSMETIC for if you like the look of them. You CAN upgrade them!
Armor - you can put your cosmetic items in the outfit designer
Weapons - you fill up the "empty" cosmetic weapon with modifications

I think the Executioner's Warstaff is a really cool dualsaber as well, as it's the dualsaber version of the Executioner's Maw.

Any chance for an assault cannon video? I have the one from the Gree event and Gallantry for sound effects but in terms of coolness and sound would be nice if you could do a video on them as you main a trooper? Keep up the vids and I miss Javid!

okay so originally i googled light sabre crystal colours because the one i bought recently didnt look good, that somehow bought me to a reddit page that bought me here...now ive ended up buying a new light sabre entirely because of the twisted fang haha

kallig's lightsaber also looks good with a dark red crystal from the cartel market

Sadly no. It's a big player request but the devs said it's difficult to add. You can "fill" the lightsaber with modifications though, if not transmog it.

Can you do a “best way to make/earn credits in 2020” for the academy? I just resubbed and want to get some quick credits for a few RP characters but I don’t want to buy Cartel Market items to flip on the GTN...
Eventually yes! For now
1) DO CONQUEST AND SELL THE MATERIALS YOU GET
2) Heroics give great credits at high level
3) Gather materials to sell while running around
4) Apparently flashpoints are good too and sell the materials from the groupfinder reward if you have an organized fast group (also gets conquest points)

When are you gonna make a top 10 blasters list? Because I would real like to see that. Keep in mind, I'm thinking top 10s of each blaster type separately; rifle, sniper, pistol, and assault cannon
Nice !! I own a few of these as I main a consular shadow, but I still use, The Shadowsaber !! I got it when Rakata gear was BIS and when they used to name hilts. So its not visually impressive, nor does it sport any fancy visual artefacts. I got it for the name :P :P

hello swtorista, i do not know where i could go to ask questions but i will do so here, if i already finish all the story line up until this point and decide i want to do fallen empire again, will i lose all progress? do i have to do everything all over again or is it just like a flashpoint?
Nope! It's like a flashpoint, the second time shouldn't count.

@Swtorista well in that case. I was wondering if BW actually changed some dialogue options for specific races. Like, if you’re a pure blood sith, if you then on Korriban get different interactions or dialogue in scenes.
@@xsXRevanXsx It changes some things the NPCs say to you. First that comes to mind is on Korriban sith warrior, you talk to a pure blooded sith and if you chose to flirt with her she says two different things depending on if you're sith pureblood species or not.

Hello. Can you ask Bioware to fix the Atris armor? It clips and looks nothing like the armor from the game... missing the patterns and bow at the back of the sash.

I dunno, I think most of the single Blade ones look better than the double Blade ones (even though many of them are the same hilts/effect) but I wish BioWare would add the option of customizing any Blade Effects w/any Hilt you want

Sort of. In the upcoming expansion, you need to play as a Shadow or Assassin, but you can do that as even a Sith Warrior or Jedi Knight.

I do sometimes use the Twisted Fang too its looks amazing 🦊
I worked so hard to get the gree saber, it's very special to me too!
