The development of music is an ongoing journey. And there's always someone new to listen to and learn from.

Its a tweed Fender Champ. Worth thousands now. A lot of the big guitar greats. Page Clapton,Beck, Green etc.used them in the studio. Cranked and miked they sounded huge and awesome. Small tube amps are great and these vintage ones are sought after

I own a late 60s Fender Deluxe Reverb in almost pristine original condition, it was my grandpa's. It's priceless to me but probably only worth a couple of grand if I sold it.

Ego destroyed (saxophone player) Haha. This whole movie (and the music Valens wrote) was so influencal on me as a kid and it ultimately lit a fuse that got me started playing guitar. 27 years later, seeing this clip reminded me of that.
I think Lou Diamond Phillips did an excelent job in this movie. I wish Ritchie Valens had more notoriety - he was only 17, can you imagine what he would have accomplished? The song "The Day the Music Died" is so friggin' correct, America lost our Beatles (Buddy) and our Stones (Ritchie) in that plane crash.

Ego destroyed (saxophone player) Haha. This whole movie (and the music Valens wrote) was so influencal on me as a kid and it ultimately lit a fuse that got me started playing guitar. 27 years later, seeing this clip reminded me of that.

I miss the late 80's and early 90's really bad.
I think Lou Diamond Phillips did an excelent job in this movie. I wish Ritchie Valens had more notoriety - he was only 17, can you imagine what he would have accomplished? The song "The Day the Music Died" is so friggin' correct, America lost our Beatles (Buddy) and our Stones (Ritchie) in that plane crash.

Geoffrey Rivas as Rudy was really well-acted. The look of dawning realization feels honest and real.
