MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another awesome video/lecture on the classical Pythagorean Theorem in Solid/Analytical Geometry. This topic is simple to understand from start to finish. All students in Mathematics should know and understand the Pythagorean Theorem.
c^2 = a^2 + b^2 is the converse of the Pythagoras theorem, where you use it to prove a triangle is a right angled triangle. The Pythagoras theorem itself is where if you know a triangle is a right angled triangle, you can use the property- a^2 + b^2 = c^2.
Thank you so much...! I got sick today and didn't focus on class so I had to study on my own T-T With this, I now understand the lesson Again, thank youuuuu
Ty, I was very confused with how to calculate anything of a rhombus and now I think I understand it, even tho the formula for area of rhombus is different than I learned, I only needed to learn how to use the Pythagorean theorem on it English is my seconds language and I still understood it 👍
I honestly hate hate hate anything to do with angles and geometry, im in 8th grade and i started learning abt the Pythagorean theory today, my teacher explained kinda quickly so I didn’t get it.. but u helped me so much so ty
Very good video! May I ask at which stage do kids in the US or UK learn about this? It’s taught in year 1 or 2 in junior high in China, if I remember correctly
I moved and have to take a math class in Austria now and they use different math for this. If anybody knows about “Hohensatz”, “kathetensatz” and such things in English that would help. Also I don’t know what the variables are (p,q,c,d,hc,ha etc)

I’m confused by the trapezoid because how is the height not 12 if there is a square?
You know the guy is good when it feel like he's right there with you, helping you along.
I've watched a bunch of his videos recently, they r so understandable. I am speechless...

For those wondering the ^ means to raise to the power of 2 ex.: b^2 is b raised to the power of 2
ty this confused me
