Mr. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a beautiful Geometry video on finding Areas. These concepts have been around forever and students should analyze and carry these tools for life.

I definitely needed this review, so thanks for the vid. This is the kind of thing I would be embarrassed not to know, so it's a good thing I realized I had forgotten a few parts. On to 3 dimensions....
Amazing video! However, just keep in mind that you do not have to memorize the area of an equilateral triangle. You can go about finding the area by just splitting the triangle into two right triangles. Then, find the height by finding the length of the side that corresponds to the height on the right triangles (by using the Pythagorean Theorem). Then, use the regular area of a triangle formula with the height and base values that you have! It is just an unnecessary formula you can avoid memorizing!

I really appreciate this video. Would just want to request if you could put subtitles on coz I'm not really familiar with some of the mathematical words yet. Thank you very much!
I always forget square root of 3 over 4 on an equilateral triangle since its formula is derived from a long pythagorean. I rather use trigonometry on this and use sin60 and divide it by 2. It's much easier to remember and it's flexible since we both know that an equilateral triangles has the same hypotenuse and height and angle.
Thank you so much!! Actually, I am not bad in mathmatics but since I have done all my studies in french, it takes me too much time to understand the question. Thanks to you, I can learn all the "maths' vocabulary"

Non-human species may use a different base degree, like base 60 degrees. The equilateral triangle, a 1 by 1 triangle would have an area of 1 (triangle areas). The area formulas would be, equilateral triangle = s², square = (4/√3) s² , right-angled triangle = (2/√3) b h, circle = π d² / √3
It says a lot when your in the 5th grade, needing this for class but most people in the comments are mostly over 15-17. That means their making classes more advanced and hard
The next problem after also deals with a Rhombus’ area that can equal 169 squaring side 13, but also through the Rhombus area formula which gets you 120
I just write it on the wihiteboard and my mom says "Well unless you know geometry I am so proud of you" its because of you my mom is proud. Thank you for that.

This was so understandable it’s amazing thank you so much 🙏🫡
Good explanation. Easy to understand.
The rhombus you drew at 11:35 cannot be 'congruent like a square' because the rhombus is made of two isosceles triangles.
Also remember that all sides of a rhombus are equal.
How about the 4:00 i guess he forgot to multiply the π to 25cm.. His answer is only 25
The next problem after also deals with a Rhombus’ area that can equal 169 squaring side 13, but also through the Rhombus area formula which gets you 120
You're amazing you make it so easy to learn thnx
