The Originals' Claire Holt Splits from Husband Matthew Kaplan One Day Before Anniversary!

- Sad news for The Originals actress Claire Holt - she is getting a divorce from her husband of one year, Matthew Kaplan, her rep confirms to JustJaredJr.com.
The 28-year-old actress’ husband filed for divorce on April 27, just one day before the day they would have celebrated their first anniversary as a married couple. He cited “irreconcilable differences” in the court documents and listed their separation date as April 24.
Claire responded to the divorce petition on May 2 and said that the couple split on April 27, the day Matthew filed his documents. She also asked that her last name be legally restored from Kaplan back to Holt.
The couple tied the knot on April 28, 2016 after announcing their engagement during the summer of 2015.

Claire left the Originals to work on her relationship with this guy. I don't know what should I be more sad about, the fact that the relationship didn't work out, or the fact that she left the show :'(

This doesn't have to be a sad news, I mean if the marriage wasn't working out, this is a fresh start for her. She is amazing, hopefully she'll find someone to make her happy....I wish her all the best
