A visual representation of the deep, frustrated inner-mind of Carl. This is probably the most important video of the century. After watching this, I asked myself if I was a mermaid and, in a fit of subsequent rage, threw my computer into a bonfire.
I had to load my save game over 100x to get all these to work because I kept making mistakes. Frustration was definitely involved and I thank God for SSDs. Thankfully there was big relief after I got over each hurdle.

I've been binging your videos for the past coupe days so I clicked on this thinking it was an older vid. Imagine my excitement when I realized it was something new!
I know i am late to the party and people have been saying how much they want cars in Sims 4 for years. That said, i just want to share my thoughts on cars after the disappointing Star wars dlc. So i present to you my version of a dlc, Sims 4 Automobile. The features- Personal vehicle: Adding cars and motorbikes should not be difficult. I think keeping the limited design of Sims 4 in mind, cars should be treated as a condition based object like plants; meaning they would have a condition bar which can be improved by tuning(in a garage with a toolbox), washing (in a totally safe for work manner 😂) or taking it to a workshop (more on it later).Handiness skill could allow a Sim to even boost the performance of the car/bike. Cars could just used like magic broom. Sad! but this is the best we can get from Sims 4. Workshop: They can add a playable job of car mechanic like Doctor. This could mean that we would get a place to repair/wash/rebuilding/recycling cars. But the best could be that they could add a station where you can build a custom car! It may not be extra difficult. There could be an option to select a car type and then add various types wheel, body mods, colors etc. Just imagine your Sim running a place like this! Racing; i know that currently no available lot is huge enough to accommodate a racing course. But it may not be a problem if we get a new town that already has it! 😉 Taking your custom built car in a race could be so much fun! Now this is all i have in my mind. I just want to love Sims 4 as much as Sims 3 but fact of the matter is Sims 4 is not a game like Sims 3. But i think Sims 4 could be fun as a game with many small sandbox, you know like living your life in your home and working. Unlike Sims 3 they should give us more interactive small simulations. No more rabbit holes and no more crappy dlc that does not add any new gameplay. If they want our hard earned money, they better give us something we can have fun with. I just recently started playing Sims 2, the Ultimate Collection version, and it has something similar to the first two features you mentioned. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet though, because my sim is focusing on flower arrangement and pet training first. 😃

Some of these sound like theyre like 50% of the way to being actual useful functional mods. Like the one about changing the speed of animations. Could you hypothetically make it so that animations of cooking "tricks" are at like 1000% speed so the Sims just make their damn food?

I think you may be right. It's not a video and the model moves at a slower pace between two poses while visiting all the points in between. It needs to be that way so that you could truly have a 100fps+ animation, so the model moves differently to a video file and there isn't any wonder to it, but it does look neat and lets me capture some very hard to get angles in some faster animations. Haven't tried yet but can tell it is going to help.

Lmao the random push-ups drove me crazy when I first started playing S4! Like dude I told you to read a damn book not work out😭. For that reason none of my Sims have the Active trait.
This is hilarious, apart from being compelled to show this video to my spouse so we can both laugh I do want to mention I also have a tutorial series for getting into script mods, it's something new I started so I don't have much (only 5 parts) but I wanted to point it out. Man, it reminds me of that time i tried to install Sims 2 on a PC with damaged hardware. RAM had some corrupted sectors and data got scrambled here and there, but did so consistently. Specifically, it made some odd changes to some models and object scripts which made Konwledge aspiration sims unplayable - every time sim with this aspiration (it didn't affect any other) tried to use a toilet, interaction was canceling and sim teleported to a specific slot relative to the throne. Fun times ;)

I'm a Software Engineering student. I have a project class coming up where we have to code a whole piece of software start to finish. I was thinking about making my own full fledged mod, like WW or MCCC. But now that I know what goes into making a mod, I can't really do it for that class project. Which is a shame because I was looking forward to it!

welcome to the code side- you will probably get something of worth out faster then me as COVID has me full time homeschooling this year. Everytime I try to advance my education I get pulled deeper into the mother world.
I downloaded a mod that makes the “Ask if mermaid” interaction useful again. The game generates mermaids as you play and after a while, you can’t really tell who’s a mermaid anymore unless they are swimming and so the mod allows me to ask if the sim is a mermaid and they will tell me if they are or not. But only if we are friends, if we aren’t, they get mad at my Sim.
My sims never farts, I’ve never realised how much other sims seem to fart. Thanks for that realisation, your work was clearly very useful. (It’s awesome actually and I’m very impressed 👌🏽) Superfun to watch

I’m pretty sure Sims 2 had a slow time spell or a stop time spell where your sim could move normally but everyone else was stopped or slowed.

I think the animation still looks smooth after slowing it down is because it's a 3D model? There's no frame rate right? Why would it not look smooth?

Specifically, it made some odd changes to some models and object scripts which made Konwledge aspiration sims unplayable - every time sim with this aspiration (it didn't affect any other) tried to use a toilet, interaction was canceling and sim teleported to a specific slot relative to the throne. Fun times ;)

I'm a Software Engineering student. I have a project class coming up where we have to code a whole piece of software start to finish. I was thinking about making my own full fledged mod, like WW or MCCC. But now that I know what goes into making a mod, I can't really do it for that class project. Which is a shame because I was looking forward to it!
Why can't you do it now? The youtuber said it was easy, and you don't need to learn xml
@@alexislee6825 I can do it now. I can't do it for a project because XML isn't a real programming language, it's a markup language. I could do it if I did a python mod, though.

I think you definitely nailed this year, even if you broke it well done learning to mod, I would not embark on it, I am way too dangerous with these kinds of things
welcome to the code side- you will probably get something of worth out faster then me as COVID has me full time homeschooling this year. Everytime I try to advance my education I get pulled deeper into the mother world.
I downloaded a mod that makes the “Ask if mermaid” interaction useful again. The game generates mermaids as you play and after a while, you can’t really tell who’s a mermaid anymore unless they are swimming and so the mod allows me to ask if the sim is a mermaid and they will tell me if they are or not. But only if we are friends, if we aren’t, they get mad at my Sim.
My sims never farts, I’ve never realised how much other sims seem to fart. Thanks for that realisation, your work was clearly very useful. (It’s awesome actually and I’m very impressed 👌🏽) Superfun to watch

Thanks! I definitely enjoy parts of the process, which is enough to keep me going. Just need to understand some of the other modifiers a bit better.
why don't the captions match up with what you are saying? the differences are slight but frustrating...accuracy in closed captioning is important!
Hey. Sorry about that. It's usually one of my stronger areas. I'll take a look tonight and see what I missed. I do try to re-align them as I don't always read directly from a script and improvise a bit. i'm guessing there's a little scattered here and there?
