Why Solo: a Star Wars Story Failed

Probably the most forgettable Star Wars movie out there, Solo: A Star Wars Story was a mess from the beginning of production to the end of its theatrical run. However, what’s interesting is that Solo: A Star Wars Story was the third most expensive Star Wars film to make, yet it is the lowest-grossing Star Wars film ever. So this begs the question… What the hell happened to Solo?
