I like the idea it reminds me alot of the intakes used in spin up. The main difference between these new game elements and the old ones is the size and the hole in the middle. It will be exciting to see how teams initiative and come up with new intake ideas
Honestly my thoughts were to have a 4 bar lift in the center of your bot that could go full 180 and pick up rings from either side and deposit them in a goal the bot can hold on either side
@@ltcrobotics6271 No Problems, we are a small team trying to build smtn similar, so just using this as inspiration (also a fun reverse eng/upgrade challange) PS what cad software do yall use for vex stuff?
Bros rebuilding while MS Worlds is still happening
Dude just finished cooking over under and starts cooking high stakes
Kitchen is open 24/7
Fair fair

Also seems like a bigger version of the rings from Tipping point
Me thinking that the rings look like ftc centerstage pixels
Everyone forjot about round ip
Blud is cooking so hard right now.

Tipping point….
@@melonoverlord243 yes lmao
Looking good 👍
I would recommend an arm to grab the middle of the thingies so you can use it as a double function with hang
Dw we got some plans
It’s gonna be like tipping point again probably
How is blud building already
Light work, my team has a chassis built
Call bro the bagel baker the way he cooks
Those donuts are huge
Yes 😭 they are giant
*rings
@@madisoglrobotics mmm, donuts

The Cook is insane
Little Will likes it medium rare 👨🍳
I had the same idea for our intake LOL
I think having this as well as a lift that has a grab that can put them on the side goals will be viable
Interesting concept. Keep it up!
make sure you guys account for the fact that you need to put a little bit of force to actually secure the rings on stakes
Yes we are going to add additional mechanisms for that 😉
Wait so what are those things you put between the chain and the drive shaft?
Nice idea, try making it faster
I'm waiting for a big youtube team to drop a reveal and then just copy them
You might have to wait a while for ours lol
Wait a sec...
cooking 🙏
Did you try all flex wheels? Do u think that would work better
We haven’t tried that yet but we don’t have too many to do it and have enough for other teams in our club
If it fine I might use this and we had the exact same idea
Go for it
you took my idea lol
Yea us too
wow
tipping point type shit
got a question for the intake how do you keep it from moving to much
@@julianc9968 what do you mean by moving too much? The ring, the intake?
You willing to share blueprints or is that anti team secrecy?
We will keep our cad to ourselves. But there are plenty of pictures and videos on our channel and on the vex forum.

damn ok
what rpm cartridge are you using? i tried this with a 600 and it was too fast but then i tried with a 200 and it was too slow
This is 600
use gear ratios
actually, with some more testing i found that the higher speed lets me easily put rings on the taller wall goals
@@some.randomdude do you guys have a field yet ?
@@ltcrobotics6271 no i just taped a 10" piece of c channel to our existing field lol
Take a break 😭
little will? never.
