- On March 27th was my birthday and it was a lonely one, thanks to Corona... So I thought I would answer one of the most requested questions: How did I start flying R/C Helis? Have fun!

Es müsste einfach mehr von diesen Simones geben. Genau so habe ich vor 10 Jahren auch angefangen. Erst der Spielzeugschaumi, dann der Koax über den ersten Blade SR. Dann der Sprung zum T-Rex 450. Heute stehen da noch T-Rex 700 und 550 sowie Exo 500 und Extras in allen Größen. Simone hat voll Recht, Heli oder Fläche in die Luft und der Tag wird gut. Es fliegen leider so gut wie keine Mädels. Bei uns im Verein mit 75 Leuten leider nur eine. Heli bin ich der Einzige. Hab übrigens erst mit 50 begonnen, es haben leider viel zu viele mit dem Helifliegen wieder aufgehört, weil der Erfolg nicht schnell genug da war...

Very interesting videos love your channel fantastic pilot skills you have. Great to see women in this hobby, sad to think back when you were 16 that a model shop told you too go over to the clothes shop instead. Come to think about it you would of got as much help in a clothes shop as he gave you which was zero. But that said iam delighted you persisted and you certainly should be very proud of yourself Simone. Take care and mind yourself during these crazy times.
Very interesting video! It's amazing that the hobby shop told you it wasn't a girl's hobby. Nothing like sending a paying customer away. Hopefully they know of the success you've had. If it was me, I'd make sure they did!

Alle Achtung, in der Studienzeit bei so wenig übrig dir Heli gebraucht zu sparen, wow, du wolltest das 1000% 🤩
Ja stimmt schon das mit dem blauen Himmel, Finger Kribbeln und so, zumindest anfangs wenn ich zu Hause zum Fenster raus schaue, bei mir schlägt das am Platz dann aber doch oft in Stress um weil wieder was neues aus dem Sim training probiert wird, ich kann es nicht lassen 😅

Can you give me advice as begginer i want SAB helli and what transmitter you suggest for me?
Its very difficult to give advice as everyone is different and has different background knowledge and skills. I think if you are a TOTAL beginner I wouldnt recommend a SAB heli as they are quite expensive to repair. Get a simulator first, with your tx of choice (youre free to choose guess there is no "bad" tx) and use the sim until youre able to hover and fly left/right without crashing. Then get maybe a 500size heli and search for someone who can do buddyboxing (maybe at your local club). i guess thats the cheapest and best way to learn
@@SimoneZunterer well, to be honest I am not totally beginner with rc helix since I own already some of them flybarlles and for a while been thinking about "fireball" to buy. I have some skills to build it ofc not fast as you do but I am patient and precise. Anyway I appreciate your time to reply.
Excellent resource here. www.rchelicopterfun.com/ You will learn a lot of the basics you need to succeed with RC Helis from John Salt. I recommend his eBooks too. And I repair full size twin turbine helicopters.

it seems Germans love rc airplanes, right? I see lots of German videos here on youtube and the guys are always flying incredible and expensive machines. how about rc helicopters in Germany today? is the hobby increasing or is it decaying in Germany nowadays? the impression I have is that rc helis have already had better days a few years ago.
yes r/c is a big thing here in germany. seems people have a lot of money, i would never have the money to buy those huge jets or turbines, but maybe i just got the wrong job ;) the heli hoby is reducing since about 3years and many manufacturers stopped. also many events died. i really hope it will increase soon
momentan dürfen wir ja leider nicht fliegen... auch nicht wild.. da kommt bei uns sicher gleich die Polizei....
zu sportzwecken darf man ja rausgehen, ist immer nur die frage wie der entsprechende polizist unser hobby als "sport" ansieht
