SparkleBloxian you can get a $300 pc in most countries that runs csgo at 60 fps low-medium settings, if you’re thinking of getting a pc for csgo you need an ok cpu because csgo is an old game and uses the cpu more than the gpu (also to make it run smoothly you should get at least 8 gb if you have an old motherboard and use ddr3, but if you want it to run really well i recommend 16gb ddr3 or 8gb ddr4) gpu doesn’t really matter but you should have at least a gtx 950 or radeon 470 for the game not to lag, also dont get a pc that bottlenecks either the cpu or gpu try to get them, so they fit eachother; example of a bottleneck: 2080 ti with an i3 6th gen or a radeon VII with an amd 1000th series.
SparkleBloxian good luck if you’re getting a new build to run games smoothly if you have an $800 budget i recomend and ryzen 3 3300 x as it does better than the 5 3600 in most games and it’s both cheaper and newer, but it has less cores, for a gpu 1660 super is best bag for the buck no questions asked (except it depends where you live so look up the prices for different gpus) 550-650 watt psu and a b450 motherboard with 16gb 3200mhz ram, if you’re on a higher budget ask me and i can help you.

You can’t smoothly follow something with your eye, your brain isn’t capable of doing that. Your eyes actually just move your pupil to a fixed position over and over again at an extremely fast rate. Your eyes are only capable of moving to fixed positions.
@@piecrumbs9951 That's not accurate. The defaut way we look at things is not smooth, but when we are tracking something moving in a predictable and smooth way, then the eye response gets different and they really follow smoothly the movement. That is the only way to smoothly rotate your eyes, btw.

0:40 - Match the curvature of the human eye? Linus.. buddy.. pal.. friend.... 1000R = 1000mm radius, so when you sit exactly 1000mm, or 1 metre from your screen, all areas of the screen will be pointing directly at you and are of equal distance from you It has nothing to do with how your eyes work
Well...yes and no. On a flat monitor as you look across it, your eye has to refocus as the distance changes. With a curved monitor as you point out, all parts of the screen are equal distance from your eye and therefore you don't have to refocus. So more relaxing to use. Totally to do with how the eye works 👍🏼
@@dingbattoast7446 only if you sit exactly the same distance away as the radius of curvature though, otherwise it just partially helps with that. Most curved monitors are 1800R, 1.8 metres / 6ft radius. I would bet most people sit 30-60cm / 1-2ft away which is way too close to get the full benefit even for the G7 Personally I like curved monitors for how they look, have one myself.. My only point was that radius of curvature + your viewing distance is totally independent to any shape/aspect of human eyes
@@MotoCat91 yes, the distance is important. That's why curved tv's have a larger radius than a monitor. Because you sit farther away. @@blank.7253 Are you playing on a PS1 or something

Linus 2020: "His control stick is... very well defined"
evolution: allows eyes to track motion smoothly without moving your head
linus: strafes head across screen to track movement
I take it you've never looked at someone's eyes when they're tracking something "smoothly."
Enjoy your eye strain!

@@mgoldenboyz7942 no I actually think it is very flush and not really unusual at all, very worth the money in my opinion
0:40 - Match the curvature of the human eye? Linus.. buddy.. pal.. friend....
1000R = 1000mm radius, so when you sit exactly 1000mm, or 1 metre from your screen, all areas of the screen will be pointing directly at you and are of equal distance from you
It has nothing to do with how your eyes work
that makes a lot more sense!
But it does.
@@dingbattoast7446 only if you sit exactly the same distance away as the radius of curvature though, otherwise it just partially helps with that.
Most curved monitors are 1800R, 1.8 metres / 6ft radius. I would bet most people sit 30-60cm / 1-2ft away which is way too close to get the full benefit even for the G7
Personally I like curved monitors for how they look, have one myself.. My only point was that radius of curvature + your viewing distance is totally independent to any shape/aspect of human eyes
@@MotoCat91 yes, the distance is important. That's why curved tv's have a larger radius than a monitor. Because you sit farther away.
The manufacturer description actually states the curve is the allow viewing without refocus of the eye.
You can sitn where you like but the monitor is designed with a specific distance range to be effective.
