- the next few videos are all about MICRO FISHING!!! i would say just about my favorite style of fishing. when you're using a ultra light rod and reel with 2lb test line trying to contain a 12 inch redear sunfish, theres nothing like it. that being said, both of these reels are pretty awesome. the 11 is no longer produced but can be found on ebay. if you can find the 11 gold, or any zebco gold for that matter they are worth the few extra bucks. will review those reels later on down the line.

Great video and cool channel! I decided years ago to settle on the 11's and now the 33 micros for as much non-flyfishing as possible. I use them on the yellow Eagle Claw telescopic pack it rods... I keep one everywhere, in my jeep, my fishing backpack, my canoe, kayaks, and even one in my Harley Softail saddlebag.
Simple and effective - I bet I will always have one of these awesome little reels with me.
Thanks!! And yes i really like how smooth the micros are. The 11 wins in my eyes but the 33 is a solid pick
Thanks for posting the reviews on both of these, I've got a authentic 11 and accidentally broke the rod yrs ago and getting ready to buy a ultralight pole/rod for it. Was making sure the 11 wasn't too small to mount on the rods thinking the 33 was bigger...
Great video, my first real reel was a Zebco 11 that I got when I was 7 and has served me well for over a decade.
I just got a 33 micro and put it on a little 4'6 zebco hotcast rod fot pan fish always been a zebco fan. Keep up the good work in ready to see to more good videos
Carver 2250 thanks for the support!!! Im gonna try to pump out a few more videos while im still on baby leave before i go back to work. Hard when i habe to wrangle the 2 older kids.
The Spincast Guy I completely understand beleave me I have 4 and they love fishing too so it's great taking them
I did the same thing I got the Orange one
@@abelmaldonado6643 lol yep I got the orange too
Thanks for the video, trying to decide between the currently available trigger spins... I even found an old but new 11 GOLD series with more bearings on ebay...
Thabks for the comment more videos to come soon just been busy with work and family stuff. Id 100% go with the 11 gold. The 11 authentic casts amazingly well and is smooth as butter just by itsself. I have a 22 gold and its a beast, favorite reel i own so far.
Nice channel. I just got back into fishing after burning out as a kid in Florida. These Zebcos are so great. I got my g/f one and after a few casts I had to have one. Now I have the 33max Gold and the Big cat a Bullet is next. Can't wait to see your review and setup for the Bullet.
The Spincast Guy that should be interesting. I see alot of bad reviews because of operator error.
The walmart abu spincast is that bad...I returned it within 2 days. I compared the build quality of the abu vs the platinum 33 and for the same price range zebco has it beat by a mile.
My zebco bullit performs like a bait caster. If you're not bait caster swavy its a good choice
Can you do a video on the 33 micro and the 33 micro gold???
I like the omega 113
i think the 33 micro is a fare better reel them with 2 pick pins it grabs the line better then the 11 with one pick up pin the 11 retrieval has a lot of line slop and it takes loner to reel with one pin
My gold 11 has 2 pick up pins
the China made Gold has to be used only on Zebco rod made for it as the mounting foot is too thick for other rods. try finding some old USA made micros like the 113 and see how much better they are. that plastic in 33 is part of the feather touch cast system most of the nicer Zebco micros have
Gotta shave the foot down
maybe the 33 has 2 ballbearings instead of 2 bushings like the 11 came with
let me sell you a bar bq if you need another one?
What cha got?!
What's the max drag On the 33
Im not sure. Ill doubke check. Usually they dont list max drag on some sites.
The Spincast Guy do you think it would be safe to put 8 pound I'm planning on using mine for surface carp fishing
@@abelmaldonado6643 yes 8lb would be fine on a 33.
The Spincast Guy thank you for the input
@@abelmaldonado6643 no problem! Iv never fished for carp but a 33 should be plenty to wrangle some in.
