Do note that my D9 is the original model that I applied the firmware update to myself. At 80% and 100% volume EQ1 mode both speakers are close to same volume output. At 100% volume EQ2 the D9 is actually a little louder due to it being a brighter sound, but thinner on bass output.

I have 2 D8s and now the T9. The T9 is amazing. Eq mode 1 is indoor mode and has less highs and mids. Outdoor mode seems to get louder with the added mids and highs. Love it

The T9 seems fuller, more robust. Can't tell which one is louder but it seems like the T9.

Welcome back. W-King has also released a speaker that looks exactly like the Wimuue S27 (which I know is a parent company) but it’s supposedly 60w like the D9. I couldn’t find a model number though. It’s $79 on Amazon but there’s a $20 coupon. No reviews and it’s been out since 3/1
I saw that speaker tje other day. Same as s27 with 10w more power. S27 updated version is $28 right now.
I chose the T9 and have it arriving in 2 days so I'll experience first hand how it sounds but in this comparison it sounds much fuller than the D9.

I noticed that in your test those are rotated on different axis so reflections are going to be very different. Might should have matched them in rotation both ways just to see what happens. D9 sounds smoother or better blended together on its axis. T9 is separated more and vocals and instruments are more forward which jumps out at us but could be more harsh. Whichever you could listen to longer without fatigue would be the real winner. The axis might be causing one big difference.
I played these in their preferred orientation. The T9 is intended to be stood up, but does have the option to lay horizontally. The T9 is superior any way you place it. 😉

But you can't beat D9 at louder levels ... not sure about T9 but Wade got the T9 and said he wasn't that impressed. D9 IS the winner 🏆 IMO

The D9 does get pretty loud. It may be the loudest. For a smaller sized speaker, the XDobo X8 gets pretty loud.
How does the d9 compare to that harman kardon on your window?
I have a problem with my D9. The problem is when I paired with another one D9. If I go 4 feet away, the sound stop. Someone else?

The D9 is certainly more "on the go" friendly and is water resistant, unlike the T9. I think the T9 is a really great speaker for uses like in the garage, on the deck at your house or in a medium sized room inside.

@@curtcodein6486 I have the D9 and updated the firmware last year. I was one of the first to do so. It's a good speaker, but not so sure it's better than the Rave Neo/Trance Go. When I compare the updated D9 to the Rave Neo, the D9 has a little bit of a hollow sound to it and the bass doesn't have the same weight to it compared to the Rave Neo.

Brookstone go highpower i think is better than these two in terms of bass. Due to it having larger woofers.
Brookstone Big Blue Go should be better considering it's currently $170 and these W-King speakers are much less. T9 is around $100 currently and the D9 is currently $76. You could buy two of the D9's for less than one Brookstone. Big price difference.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews it's worth it. Trust me I have both and Id rather spend extra to get two Brookstones than two t9's. It's better than the xb72 my brother has one and it's almost double the weight.✌️
@@Nathan-tn5yb Brookstone is only a 60w speaker. Looks interesting, but I probably won't get one unless it gets down around $100 or less. $170-$180 is just too much for me to spend on a off brand speaker, especially considering I spent $200 on the amazing JBL Partybox 100.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews it peaks at 120 watts. It's 60 rms party box 100 is not 160 its actually half that in rms terms and only when it's plugged in. When it's not plugged in its 60 watts rms just like the Brookstone don't get mislead by specs i only care how the things sound if a speaker claimed 50 and it sounded louder than others and better then the paper specs mean jack. But yeah that's just my two cents

This is a odd review.lets review a speaker of the same make but ones 60 watt the other is 80 watt .well should be obvious which is louder .I have had both the T9/2 is brilliant for about ten euro more than the smaller
This isn't a review.its a comparison of two speakers. And no, just because one speaker has more watts doesn't automatically make it louder. What I find odd is your comment on this comparison. 🤔

@@bigtee7560 I never had the Trance, but I did have the Rave Mini, which was essentially the same speaker. I would probably give the edge to the T9 for overall sound quality. However, the Trance and Rave mini both are ipx7 waterproof rated, so they would be a better option for outdoor use, particularly at the beach, on a boat or by the pool.
Can the lights be turned off?

Whats the story with water proof. Yall dive with a speaker? Yall just sit in the rain and listen to music? Whats the big fuckin deal with water proof for this size of a speaker?
Well unlike you and the Wicked Witch of the West, some people enjoy outdoor activities that involve water. Such as going to the lake, the river, the ocean, the pool......stuff like that. And it's nice if you are getting rained on that you don't have to worry about your speaker getting ruined. Get some middle aged guys together for some mud football in the rain and some tunes and adult beverages add to the fun. Anyway, hope this helps clear things up a little since it apparently struck a nerve with your for some reason. 😡
The first music you played was good for determining the sound quality of the speakers. But the second music you played didn’t give either speaker any justice because the music was so awful. I had to click you off. But at least I didn’t give you a ‘thumbs down’
If you have some good copyright free music you would like to suggest, I'm open to try.
