      h=a/x intercept, k= b/y intercept, l= c/z intercept will give ( 1, 3/2, 1/2). That is (2 3 1)

    Excellent 👌 and to the point explaination in very short span of time. Thnk u so much mam. In the last question I got confused why are we multiplying y and z intercepts by 2 ?

      Thanks Thasmiya. Share to your friends too. All parallel planes can be represented by same Miller indices. Here in the question x intercept is given as 1.2A. But by calculation we got it as 0.6 A. So the given plane is a parallel plane with x intercept multiplied by two ( 0.6×2 = 1.2). Therefore in a similar way we have to multiply y and z intercept also by 2.
