I'm from Brazil and i'm not fluent at English - i have some difficults with the listening skill (mainly, with non-american accents, since "the learning English" here is foccused on American English) I read about interplanar distances but, even i going nut, i couldn't get it at all - my available sources only presented the formula (in a direct, confuse and superficial way - without any deductions). I was looking (like a hell) for a more detailed explication and... GIRL, YOU NAILED IT! You explained so perfectly! Clearly, logicaly and on a "step-by-step" way. So, i can just thank you SO MUCH and wish you luck, shine and a lot of success.
Thank u so Mach mam for this amazing video aapke hi video mein liye bahut jyada helpful Hai Maine aapki is video Ko Dekhkar ke bahut acche se apne notes prepare Kiye Hain aur yah video Mere Liye bahut jyada helpful hai aapane bahut Shandar aur acche dhang se samjhaen aap ek Shandar Teacher hain genius teacher hai thank u Dil Se thank u so Mach aapki video Ko Dekhkar Ke Maine definition copy ki hai apne notes Mein aapka thank u
Thank you. It has been hard finding videos explaining this in english. The last video introduced herself in english and then switched to hindi at the start of the explanation I thought I was having a brain aneurysm lolll. Thank you again. One thing is confusing me though. Is this completely general? It seems like you assume that one plane adjacent to (hkl) always intercepts the origin. Is that true or am I misunderstanding something?
Actually we find Miller indices(h k l) by taking reciprocal of the intercepts ( x y z) and take LCM ( which is the need for constant here) when we get fraction values though we get normal numbers other than fraction then here the LCM is 1 likewise now intercept is reciprocal of Miller indices multiplied by its LCM (which is constant) Hope this helps 😅
Mam I too a teacher, I wish teacher like you to be our colleague

Thank you so much mam 👍💯❤️
Thank you too. All the best
thank you, ma'am! good explanation)
Thank you for the support
Thanks superb
Can you explain why the intercepts equal a/h, b/k and c/l respectively?
Actually we find Miller indices(h k l) by taking reciprocal of the intercepts ( x y z) and take LCM ( which is the need for constant here) when we get fraction values though we get normal numbers other than fraction then here the LCM is 1 likewise now intercept is reciprocal of Miller indices multiplied by its LCM (which is constant)

Sorry, Can you explain what is lower case a, b and c in the intercepts? I understand that hkl are coordinates millers indices
They are the distance of the xyz intercepts from origin
They are the distance of the xyz intercepts from origin
Tq so much 👩madam🎉
