Turns out Michael Oher is full of 💩. He was 18 when they entered into a conservatorship. They couldn’t adopt him, because Ole Miss was their alma mater, and the guidelines would prevent him from attending, if the University thought that they took him in as a bribe, as long as he pledged to Ole Miss. He forgot that he mentioned knocking about his conservatorship 3 times in his book in 2011. The lawyers and the family also have proof that he’s gotten over $138,000 so far, and a check, as recently as this year. He’s a scumbag. That family is worth over 100 million dollars, and they were rich before they even met him. They tried to help him out and supported his ungrateful ass all those years, and now he’s saying they used him.

I loved both of those movies. My favourite scene has to be when Bernie's G.F. arrives in the middle of the night, goes into his bedroom, and after (supposedly) 20 minutes comes down and tells the main characters (after they ask her if everything was O.K.?) "Never been Better", completely unaware that she'd just committed necrophilia. (Completely Not Sorry If I Spoiled That For Anyone.)

Josh is really funny, but the fact that he can actually get deep and make you take a step back *while* being funny... that's special. The level of insight Josh has into the human condition and society at large is a drink of clean water in a world full of Redbull.

At 66 years old I’ve seen a lot of stand up. This guys good. And trump is selling t shirts with his mug.
The problem with the mugshot is that it doesn't look like a mugshot. People wanted the black and white photo with the height lines behind him, with the prisoner number at the bottom. His mugshot just looks like a bad photo. A drivers license at best.

Thank you for saying something about people getting older I’m only 52, but I’m already seeing how people are treating me different and I am still fit and active . But as I hear a young man like you talk about older people, it gives me hope and it tells me that you’re away is beyond your years.

😂 I made the funeral circuit with my my grandma too, on my annual summer visits to stay with my grandparents. Lots of the folks were women from her church group. But when I got a little older I learned from my mom that she sometimes would read the obituaries in the newspaper and go to funerals of random strangers, just out of curiosity. 😮

That’s how my ex’s mom is. I guess it’s an older woman thing? But weird to me. She reads the obituary every day. When my mom passed she wanted to go even though I said it was for immediate family only during covid pandemic. The rest could watch virtually. She didn’t understand, like why do you have to go to every funeral? Lol it’s weird

I experienced that fall, Josh. I tripped on the edge of a kitchen tile and FLEW down the foyer and broke my shoulder, and could not get up. I went from middle-aged and capable to elderly and frail in the time it took me to soar down the length of that entryway and land.
This guy is incredible. I feel got I got more laughs and unique insights in these 14 minutes then most comics can give in 90.

I'm surprised they didn't make Josh the next Daily Show Host since he's already a writer. I wonder if he rejected it. He would be perfect for it given how he's already doing this on stage. I do prefer the stand up format though so I love that he's been giving us fresh material every week!
He probably rejected it if they even considered him. He's doing what now with trevor noah, that podcast. He's like a cohost, hasn't been on in a few weeks i think, but he is mostly on it.

@@ekdaufin1485 I'm not comparing skill, I'm talking about the pacing of the jokes. He KNOWS he has the crowd in his pocket, he KNOWS he'll make them laugh. That's a sort of confidence that takes decades to develop and he already has it so young. Just look at Bill Burr's old performances, like the 90s and early 2000s. He was really jittery and aching to tell the next joke, but with time, he grew as a performer. He didn't try to impress anymore. Did you see his last special at Red Rock? It was a lifetime performance. He had the crowd eating out of his hand. Full control. Josh has all that confidence NOW. It's kind of insane.
