For years I trued to figure out what that meant, so I've been forced to look deep inside self, and then I saw it. I cared too much about what others might think about my voice, so I put my intellectual first and it reflected in my speech. Too much control, too much restraint; specifically with this song I sang the chorus with such passion as you do, and the bridge, but the rougher parts my voice was choked back becayse i felt shame .
I hear that in you. You play so fluidly and you mouth the words with a knowing voice, but you too are holding back. And I understand it's natural to you to hold back, I too choke my voice when I am expressing vividly, verily thus what you present is the finest acoustic cover of this song I've heard. And just as I, I think it hits you in the deep personal emotion reserves. And so you too hold back.
