Yea I had a few good days in there, that last trip two other boats in there and they kept everything, went back a week later in the kayak and it is toast! Gonna have to burn some gas and find new spots.
@@TimeOnTheWaterFishing An impressive day of Speckin'.....That bottom area is the Key....There's no Brown Algae Grass covering the grassy bottom....Everything north of there is covered in that brown crap!!😎
@@TimeOnTheWaterFishing Have you tried the inside of that area with a top water...I'm knot seaing any Reds or Snook on the edges....They have all been on the inside....I spent 2 hours on the edges and out islands last week north of you and never raised a fish but the inside was totally different....Snook, Reds and Specks....Kinda like everything else.....Get away from the areas that others go and get in the bushes away from the usual places others fish.....The farther you get away from the crowd the better!!😎
@WesLovelace not with a top water, but when I was out in the kayak I did stumble on two different spots in the bushes that had some reds one group I got up on and spooked them, the other just wouldn’t eat a twitch bait or paddle tail. I guess I need to throw the top water more. I will pitch it a bit and then switch back to the ol stand by. I still got a lot to learn about these saltwater critters.
I've picked up a few Specks around there but nothing like that Slay Fest....LOL!!😎🎣

@WesLovelace I think the next few trips I am gonna chase reds. I haven’t caught a redfish in a good bit.
