I'm the golfer these are aimed at and bought a set of these this year and love them. The sound when I strike them well is amazing. On the course, I trade out my five iron for a hybrid, but the five iron is so good, I'm often tempted to switch back. I don't because my 5H has about a dozen ways to get me out of trouble.
The 6-iron through pitching wedge though are magic. I hit them farther and more consistently than my old irons, and the other 2024 releases I tried (Cobra darkspeed were a close second). I demoed a few other irons this season, but nothing triggered that happy spot in my brain like the Qi10s. And at my level of golf, that's the only thing that really matters.

I just bought a set of them last week looking for little more distance, as a senior golfer and find them excellent to hit playing off a 10 handicap I am extremely happy with them

I have the QiHL. Best irons I’ve ever used overall. Soooooo easy to hit, launch, forgiving, consistent flights and spin numbers

The city courses in Toronto Canada have the Taylormade Qis as rentals. Driver to Sand, with P and Gap also Qis and the Taylormade Spyder for putter. Amazing, took me one 18 hole round to get used to the distances. Scored 87, 82 and 80. The whole Qi lineup are amazing clubs. though I would recommend it for the golfer on the higher handicap 20+, though maybe of some use on the longer irons - 5 and 4 for the lower than 20 to maybe 10 handicap. I do not think I need Sand to 6 iron in the Qis, as I am a 14 handicap.

Its about time that manufactures just put the loft on the club rather than iron numbers..7 iron at 28° is nearly a 5 iron in reality

When i match up my ballspeed and launch/distance to the 7 iron innthis test, its virtually the same as my 5 irons on the toptracer data.

This is why I bought the cleveland zipcore XL to replace my callaway x14s. Essentially 1 whole club down. (8i = x14s 7i), and distances are essentially identical

I have the Qi irons in the bag (fitted 5 to AW). My fitter asked what i was looking for and my reply was as much help as technology can give me. I'm not daft, the lofts are stronger so i make the necessary club adjustments. Being a 20 hcp, the small loss of distance on off centre hits has been a game changer.

When I got fitted, I bought the QI 10 high launch, which seems would solve all of your complaints. I’m extremely happy with the clubs.

I think the telling issue is the difference between the carry and total distances on the 7i, it is not great at over 15 yards but I have seen a lot worse for example TMs M2 irons c.2017 which were, at least in my hands, incapable of stopping on summer greens - not even links summer greens.
The problem is that the peak height is roughly what I would expect 80 ft for an 80 mph club head speed is fine as long as the spin is decent. With that level of spin I would want more peak height and therefore a steeper descent angle.
IMO there are better options out there

Good looking iron and not a bad price more than the Stealth and I found not a great difference. My spin rated 4735 and the 5 and 6 iron very strong ascent angle at 41/42 I like to see at least 45.

Believe it’s difficult for a better golfer, like yourself, to play game improvement irons. Those distances and spins on short irons are tough. Probably good for a high handicap player looking for distance and forgiveness, but not good for someone wanting to be more precise with approach shots.

I wish though that manufacturers would not tie iron set names to their wood releases. They seem to lose disproportionate value once we are into a new product lineup release.

Loving the videos! I just bought a Cleveland Hy-wood in part based on your video. I am thinking about picking up a set up the halo launcher irons but they are a bit pricey. Do you have any other recommendations of hybrid irons that are out there? I tend to chunk my irons and really have taken to the hybrids but I need more consistent from 145 to 120. I would love to get some lessons but they are basically booked up tell the end of the season.

I do not understand any of the so called date and to be honest, i dont care. Living in Australia the only clubs i want i cant afford and thats the PXG. There is no where here to test them out.
