F6 Had a 19 to 1 kill ratio...no fighter beat that record. Best all around fighter of WWII.

Call me Cupcake Dos Uno :D Aren't those White Puffy Flak from the 40mm guns? Wish AH3 had those, or at least that effect in it
40mm proximity fuses adds to the gameplay
The Hellcat doesn't have the speed of the Corsair but its a solid performer provided you remain disciplined and exploit its strengths as well as an awareness of the enemies fighters. Certainly a superior fighter than the F4, I would not have liked to have experienced those early encounters with quality IJN pilots flying a Wildcat.
Gavin Sherlock well said Gavin and yes the match up at the start of the pacific war with experienced Japanese pilots vs Hellcats would have been something.
