best martial arts for self defense? BIG NO. If you do jiujitsu on the street you will get STAB at your back lol seen this guy taking down then another guy came up bang his head with a hard bottle he got hurt and almost got stab with a broken bottle lol IF 1 vs 1 fight yes jiujitsu works =)
@@TheReal4thwhat happens if a wrestler picks up a BJJ guy and slams him on his head in the street where there is no safe soft mat? Which is totally realistic in a pure wrestler vs pure BJJ scenario. 100% of the time the wrestler dominates the takedown. Pretty typical in mma too when a guy has a wrestler base and the other guy not as strong a wrestling base. Gordon Ryan wrestles pretty good. He beat Bo Nickal in a grappling match. But Bo suplexed the snot out of Gordon. On pavement that would’ve been game over!
Of course a wrestler will dominate if he manages to throw a bjj guy on concrete but if he doesn't he better knows some ground game or has solid ground and pound.
Here in Brazil I used to say: It is better to know Jiujitsu and not need than to need and not know!😅
Great points! Thank you for the video
Wrestling
Pure BJJ guys beat pure wrestling guys. What's best is starting with wrestling and then transitioning to jiu jitsu for submissions.
@@TheReal4thsubmissions are a bit messy in self defense
