The great pleasure of this presentation is the clear sequencing of the steps. The camera angles, the lighting, and the verbal chat while doing the work simplifies the steps to where My Lady and I did the methodical, complete replacement in less than 1.5 hours with very few fumbles.
Thank you so much!! Mine was broken for over 1 year because I kept putting it off due to the auto repair shop quoting me $500 for the part and labor. Found a used part on eBay for $35 rather than $150 new and thru this video did it myself. Saved us $450. These videos really help people save money!! Only thing is my ram 1500 was a 2011 and the window track was different. There is a punch out clip in the middle of the door panel rather than lower left. Otherwise awesome!!
This is ridiculous. The front door actuator is so much easier. Had to disconnect the window and slide it up but didn’t have to remove the interior door panel. Just put my hand through the opening and disconnected everything and put the new one in. Now my rear actuator has gone bad and this is many mire steps
I did my front drivers side and now it's time for the rear also and it would have been impossible to do the front with the panel attached on this style of Ram truck. I'm calling BS on your claim. These guys do a super job of making "how to's"!!!
I have a rear door on a Ram 1500, 2014, that is closed and will not open. regardless if you unlock it by master electric unlock switch, or manually at that door. Using the outside handle or the inside handle, the door will not unlatch. I can not get the door card off because with the door closed, I can not get to the front screws. Any suggestions? I suspect the door latch actuator is bad, any suggestions?
