Thanks to your video, it took me only 3 hrs to finish the front driver & passenger locks. The challenge was actually getting the whole plastic panel out of the door, but a little wiggle and walla. Awesome video

Great video! I'm having a problem with my 2013 Ram 3500, the doors keep locking by themselves a few seconds after I unlock them, then I can hear them continuing to lock for about 30 more seconds. I could save myself a lot of money by replacing the actuator myself (since it's now out of warranty). You make it look easy, but I'm sure it's not as easy as it seems.
This problem is actually worn out key fobics. Look online to buy new rubber piece or try cleaning contacts inside but the contact cups have to in the right spot and mine came unglued.
My truck came with manual locks. But the door module is on the build sheet. Can I just buy a wiring harness and a switch panel and plug it up and have lock/unlock buttons?
I’m banging my head against the wall trying to figure why my doors in my 2014 ram randomly lock at times. I don’t know if it’s the actuator or if it’s the power window/lock control? If anyone has a guess, I’d gladly appreciate your feedback. This video will def help me get to the actuator if so. Great tutorial!
