- Headed to the BIG smoke (London, UK) to find out the severity of my knee injury, got the diagnosis and then had the surgery to sort it out.

I tore my ACL, MCL, PCL and meniscus in a snowboarding accident. Knee felt as good as ever in 8 months, you’ve got this Tom.

How did you do it? 8 months 10 days here and I haven’t improved in 2 months
@@MrGottster Some people just heal faster. Just try to eat healthy food every day and try cutting out the junk.

When I was in the arena I thought he got knocked out but then I realized he got injured

Curtis was on a interview saying he'd been working on that technique, so he wasn't surprised Tom's knee got damaged. He'd done it to several sparring partners during the camp. Embarrassing that Tom's claiming an old injury when it's obvious Curtis incapacitated Tom with a well trained MMA technique. The world knows Tom, the world knows.

So much respect for his perspective on the fight, saying he thinks he technically lost it. His mindset is so balanced.
I mean he's just being a good sport. Curtis didn't beat him in any meaningful way though. It was a complete fluke and resultant of a pre-existing injury. Curtis didn't check any kicks or even land his counter. Tom just got hurt on the retraction. It's good that he's not being a poor sport since those are the rules, but it didn't raise Curtis' stock in any way lol. Anyone pretending like Curtis caused his injury is delusional.
@@forwardmoving8252 Fighting isn't always against an opponent, it's against yourself sometimes. Everything can be avoided.
Loved the transparent very authentic look at what it’s like for athletes behind the sport, the side we don’t always get to see, and most people struggle to emphasise with it. He has had multiple knee reconstruction surgeries and created an exercise programme so he can still jump the height of basketball players, professionally trains many high level athletes.
He was also on Rogan's podcast a few months back.

I’m 22 and have had 3 knee operations for the same reason as you Tom. To even train and attempt to fight with that injury makes you a total champion. Nothing but respect for you, your team and family! Money and missing a holiday hurts, but it means nothing when your health is involved! Get yourself right, us true fans will be waiting and backing you no matter what🌟

Premier League clubs won't allow this type of access to overpaid footballers due to the level of corruption and politics involved in injuries. They could certainly learn from your approach.
