Wow, I never thought I'd see Dawn again. What a discovery! I worked with her in a factory way up in Michigan around 2013-2015. Good to see you're happy and well.
My husband loved Bass Pro shop. Especially the fishing lures. I live in Blount county but love the Kodak, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg areas & of course our mountains. Townsend on the quiet side of the mountains & Wear's Valley are also nice.
We just got to Gatlinburg a few hours ago and will be loving every minute that we are here! 💕💕💕

Every time we come up we look for the Bass Pro Shop and we know WE ARE THERE!!! We always stop by while on our vacation. And I love the music on this video!

You guys and gals do an awesome job on giving us a view of the beautiful smokies and the snow is beautiful covering the trees and mountains unlike Florida we are in the 80's 😰 ready to move where at least you have 4 seasons with beautiful views not 10 months of summer👍👍

The first 5 hours of the drive from St. Louis are palatable, once we get to the other side of Nashville, I get my second wind. Once we get to exit 407, everyone is as giddy as a school girl knowing we're almost back. Can't wait to get back there this coming June!

Omg! While watching this I really wanted to crack open the box of valentines chocolates that I bought for my husband! Lol
I think this is my favorite exit in the entire state of Tennessee. I love that I only live around 170 miles away up in Kentucky. If you don't get caught it too much traffic its really not a bad trip to make and be able to get away for a few days. I done been on a quick overnight this year but, we are hoping to get to go back in a few months for a bit longer.

We actually stayed at the Holiday Inn beside the Bass Pro shop a few years ago. We did visit that shop, ate at the Chop House one night, visited the Knife Works. Of course we had a great time. We didn't know about the flea market, so maybe next time. Thanks for this video!!

I’m just watching this video and as many times as we’ve stopped by Bass Pro Shop on our way home leaving the Smokies, I have never been to the Russell Stovers store! I am amazed! I will definitely make a stop next time. I had no idea! Once again, thanks for another great review!

Love Russell Stover’s candy store! We always start our vacation there when my girl cousins come up every year. There’s usually 15-25+ of us that make the trip. We have a blast. I didn’t get to make it last year as I was in the middle of chemo and radiation treatment for breast cancer, but I plan to be there this year! Blessings.
Craving Chocolate now! Lol. Need to go to a Russell Stover Outlet soon!

We always stop at Russel Stovers. They have the best fudge. Melts in your mouth! But my all time favorite is just the plain milk chocolate which is hard to find past Easter!

Good video! I live in Detroit area and go to exit 407 and Gatlinburg a couple times a year. Smoky mountain knife works and Dewalt tool store.... show everyone that :)... be safe driving !
I’d like to see a vid of one of those cement statue stands you see along the the sides of the county roads. That would be fun they always have such odd choices to put in your yards

I remember watching Dave Alias from WTRF in Wheeling, West Virginia one day on location, will reminds me of how he talks and is so relaxed on Camera, very professional!
I got a reply from Will a few weeks ago regarding the Camera he uses, I think he said a Canon D90 .....I see the Fantastic clear Video he is shooting with it, .....WOW it is Fantastic!
Almost certain I will go for one of those, I was wonder if he uses External Microphone because the Sound is also Amazing!

Seymour, Dandridge, and New Center are good areas
What is your guys' opinion about EBCI (the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians) having bought 100 or so acres of land right there at Exit 407 (next to the Smokies stadium)? EBCI already owns the big casino in Cherokee, NC, which is on the other side of the park from Gatlinburg. Though the tribe hasn't said what exactly they bought the land at Exit 407 for, the smart money says they want to build another casino there. If they do, it will be a big change not just there at the exit, but for the whole region, which, though it's been dependent on tourism for years now, has never had gambling before. Could it harm Sevier County's family-friendly image? Would it cause traffic nightmares? Or would it be a positive for tourism there?
