Welcome to PART 5 of my Splatoon 3 Salmon Run Next Wave gameplay walkthrough on Nintendo Switch! We'll be playing the revamped horde mode Salmon Run, taking on Salmonid bosses new & returning, fighting for our lives against King Salmonids like the Cohozuna, as well as unlocking exclusive gear & bonuses along the way, and participating in the special event known as Big Run. getting the cohozuna right after the fishstick disappeared felt like: "EMERGENCY, ADAM'S FISHSTICK DISAPPEARED"

You’ve always been such a huge inspiration for me, ever since I was young. You were my biggest inspiration when I was younger, and even now! I absolutely love your videos (I began watching since the Super Mario 3D world videos)! 10 min 46 sec What was happening there was that you were aiming a little too low, so your N-Zap's shots were mostly flying under the circle of Fish Stick Salmonid boss.
The original Splatoon 1 Roller was crazy; it had a huge hit-box, all of the flung ink was a one-hit KO (like an Inkzooka) and while in rolling mode, the roller itself blocked enemy shots, meaning enemies would have to aim higher at the Inkling, much like how the Crab Tank is in Spla3. All of this was nerfed during Spla1's life time and possibly before I began playing the game. The outer edges of the flung ink (front and sides) no longer results in Splats. I was watching a video & reading up on this recently.
I love the sound effects of the Splatoon franchise! It's one of my favorites! (The others being the Plants Vs Zombies franchise (especially the Garden Warfare spin-off), Resident Evil (especially RE4), Smash Bros (especially Melee Marth's tipping sound) and Kingdom Hearts.) I haven't noticed a change in the Suction Bomb sounds in Spla3, but between Spla1 and Spla2, they changed the sound of Splattershot shots a little. I wish they hadn't; the newer sounds are good, too, it's just that I felt the slightly deeper sound of the Splattershot's shots in Spla1 were better. I think they also changed the plunging into your ink sound between Spla1 and Spla2.
I don't feel strongly about this, but I think instead of liking shorter, or longer Salmon Run episodes, I like the idea of irregularly length episodes. Some being close to 20 minutes, some being closer to 40 minutes seems kind of interesting. That said, this one being shorter let me watch it twice, already.
Do you like getting Comments? It might help with getting your video recommended more by the UA-cam algorithm, but total watch time, as well as viewer retention (percentage of video watched) are the most beneficial for your metrics, according to Map Pat of the UA-cam Channel "Game Theory" fame who has done experiments to discover this years prior to a Let's Player named Stephen Georg outright being told the same thing by an official UA-cam employee who served as a consultant to help his Channel.
UA-cam has a tendency to mistake my Comments as spam and consequently hide them ever since around 2014, which seems to increase as I post more, so I was hesitant to post this one for which I'm less invested. I'd love it if you could somehow "whitelist" me for Commenting, which would alleviate some of my concerns about this. Anyway, while milling over whether to post this, or not, I let this video play a third time, so that'd be good for your metrics.
