My dad worked at IMC rainbow for 44 years and I did too for about 8. Any fertilizer with low numbers like 6-8-8 or 8-8-8 are mostly filler. The filler is gypsum . So if you mix in some 8-8-8 with your other you'll be adding mostly gyp.
You have a beautiful son. And I love watching you make knives and harvest the wild lettuce. You remind me of my son with his child. Sending you blessings from Tennessee. When i was still a gal living with my dad, we used a mule till dad bought an old Ford tractor. Yes sir, the summer and planting any crop or garden requires bare feet and enjoying the feel of the warm dirt on your feet.
That chicken litter sure makes a hot onion, the tractor looks great with the fresh coat of paint. Thanks for the prayers and watching you and Brody work the garden is a blessing.
I've got a 1958 Ford Jubilee that I learned on when I was 7 years old . Now I'm 61 still use the old tractor to get my garden needs met . Love them old tractors
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors I've got to correct myself that's not a 1958 model Ford that's a 1953 model cause it was 10 yr old when I was born Lol . Mistake .
Have you ever tried planting your corn, beans and squash together? Each plant feeds the other and the squash also protects the beans and corn from other problems. The best is they Each put off a minerals to feed the other.
Get you some Creole tomatoes from Becnel farms down Plaquemines parish . your nurseries should carry them or Home Depot and Lowe’s. Tell mom the premium tomato for sauce is called San Marzano. Shaped like a Roma.
Last fall i cleaned out some pens and put it straight in the garden . About 3-4 weeks later i put in my fall crop and it was the best id ever had . This has been sitting all winter so i am not sure
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors Thanks I been told I would burn my plants up. Here’s one for u since your old school to. Pa pa plowed with a mule until 78 I would walk behind him barefoot with a bucket. He’d say make haste sonny boy and spread that Duaner. He never called it fertilizer and I don’t know where he got duaner from never heard anyone else call it that. Just like it sounds dew anner.
Hey Justin! It won't be long before Brody is driving the tractor and you'll be promoted to "Supervisor" and/or "Director Of Operations"! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! (On the Down Side... your pay rate will probably remain the same as it is now.) The Garden prep is going well... and with help like Brody's... how can it go wrong?! THAT was a very cool belt buckle.... and Brody will put that chocolate to good use! Busting up sheetrock is hard work & he needs the energy! I am relieved that Brody didn't get "Hammer Toe"! WHEW! That was a close call! I've got a box of stuff headed down your way! It should be arriving soon(ish)... so keep an eye out for it. Take care & I'll see you down the trail!
Im not 100% sure. He was in a litter my neighbor had and the momma was a chihuahua/ rat terrier mix and the dad was some kinda fiest that showed up but none of this is actually written down or known so he could be anything really
On the stuff not growing as good as it used to. You should do a soil test. You may be adding stuff that you may not need. It’s inexpensive to have it done and may very well not need as much fertilizer or a different ratio. Soil test through the state are probably around $10. Do not guess, test. For example on my vegetable farm this season I only need nitrogen in most plots.
Garden prepped and planted with lots of ❤ L O V E ❤ now God will bring the harvest. Brody is growing up so nicely Dad. I bet the Lord is pleased.
Thank you. Love yall and God bless

I agree about fertilizing. Most people dont fertilize enough or at all. And then they don't understand why their plants aren't thriving.
Good to have you feet in the cool soil. Grounds your soul and nurture the body
Good for u little man. Happy trapping.
