The series toyed with our feelings for 6 seasons straight the least they could’ve given us was a proper honeymoon, Chuck and Blair buying a house while she was pregnant with Henry, and more Henry content with BOTH his parents. The ending sucks ass.

i feel like the scene where chuck apologises for everything is so powerful. it shows that even when they’re not together, they can be real and vulnerable with each other. and it was really important in his character development because he was able to apologise and please her without having an ulterior motive. he wasn’t trying to win her back, he wasn’t manipulating her; he was being good and kind and nice. for someone like him, that would’ve been really difficult.

Ed and Leighton did their job so flawlessly that they had to become the main characters. Their chemistry alone was the only thing holding together the ridiculous plots of the later seasons. Great editing; this must have taken ages. Watching this back, I never realized how often Chuck/Blair actually just sleep together (no sex); it's sweet.

This couple is one of those most complex relationships I’ve ever seen... so much individual growth over the course of the series, and they realized there’s more to life and love than games and deception... I truly love that they forgave eachother and finally cut the bullshit. They’re epic together if they put their vendettas aside, and just let themselves FEEL.
I watch this show for them too. They are an in incredibly toxic couple, BUT what makes them ending up together work is that they hit rock bottom and then worked hard on themselves apart and become better people and THEN came back together again. I do so love watching this show because of them!

i feel like the scene where chuck apologises for everything is so powerful. it shows that even when they’re not together, they can be real and vulnerable with each other. and it was really important in his character development because he was able to apologise and please her without having an ulterior motive. he wasn’t trying to win her back, he wasn’t manipulating her; he was being good and kind and nice. for someone like him, that would’ve been really difficult.

This couple is one of those most complex relationships I’ve ever seen... so much individual growth over the course of the series, and they realized there’s more to life and love than games and deception...
