Excellent presentation. My choice is sometimes Cod liver oil, twice a week and Perilla oil three or four times a week. What do you think of Perilla oil?
I like it. Used a lot in the Korean diet.

New studies are showing that anything above 1g poses a risk for AFIB. I hope not because I am taking 4g per day.
Yeah, I just stopped mine, and that appears to be exactly the case! I was taking 4 grams per day!
I'm reversing my heart disease verified by CAC. No A-fib is icing on the CAKE!!!
Why not discuss the overwhelming improvement that krill oil is in comparison?
I've been researching krill oil and it looks like krill is far superior to "fish oil". Would you know a good brand of krill oil? There are so many ...
@@jenl1107 Indeed it is, how well it breaks down in the stomach to allow for absorption is incredible. I recommend Origin Maine; have been using Jocko Super Krill for over a year now.

What about omega3 and prostate cancer?
Is it good for the planet.
Dr. Sung, I have elevated platelets (640 10*9/L) and I am concerned. It has been elevated since my late 20's. Is Fish Oil beneficial for me or would that just increase my platelets even more? I have never been told to take aspirin or anything for this...they just tell me 'well it looks like that has been an ongoing issue for you'...there is a reason for a blood test and there is a reason that the blood test results remain high or low...I just would like your opinion on this please
You ever find out a answer it appears he don’t answer questions?

Cod liver oil is my favorite.
HOW does one support a sluggish/absent gall bladder?

So are you saying , if im taking MEGA RED 4 in 1 500 mg. Fish oul & Krill oil i need to take 4 of these a day to get the 2000 mg. dose you recommend?
Why not just consume the algae?
As a male adult, can I take Nordic naturals brand 4 softgels a day to obtain 4,000 mg of combined EPA/DHA? 2 soft gels of Nordic Naturals contains EPA 1125 mg and DHA 875 mg = 2,000 mg of combined EPA/DHA.
Bad.
Just get it from algae based supplements. You know, where the fish get it. Cut out the middle man and you cut out things that build-up (bioaccumulate) in the higher you go in the food-chain like all the pollutants that are in many of our waters. There are also a number of other issues with eating fish, Just go as low in the chain as you can where you get only what you need.
So true!
Are human designed to eat alger
Curious how helpful flax seed oil or other Omega 3 vegetarian/vegan supplements are vs fish oil. What would be the best option, alge?
Thank you Sir best Doctor in the world 🌎
