I feel sorry for the guy he risked his Life for his country everyone thought he was dead and now he comes back and his wife doesn't even want him and he feels like he has been betrayed he didn't deserve that at all
She did the right thing. Info said that he was dead, it ripped her heart out. It took 5yrs, she moved on but never let him completely go. He was her first love and the father of her child. And letting him get to know his daughter shows all of the love, and strength and growth.

Good Advice: Join the military single so that your heart won’t shatter in pieces and be destroyed by the most painful feeling. Love hurts. I’ve had my heart ripped. I was sad for weeks until I finally got over it. It made me more hardened in terms of emotions and expression😔. At least the good Lord is with me until death.
Hey there, don't give up hope. If what you want is not to be single but have a family, you shall. I know people who found their soulmates when they were 54. But it's wasn't too late for then because they joy and happiness they felt being together was immeasurable.
There are many more such examples. So if that's what's yiu want, don't stop praying to God.
I also admire your heart for not turning against God after suffering so rough but accepting it and believing in God and His help. All of this pain and faith won't go unnoticed. So please don't be sad. You did you best and you have a clean conscience.

I love how at the end his daughter have the toy to mom and asked dad if wanted to go see the puppies. The first time seeing he er dad she was so scared of him, but coming to her with a much calmer demeanor caused her to be do much more accepting. I wish more people in real life would understand that how you approach a child makes a world of difference.

Combine college courses where all of my extra courses were about psychology with having 3 kids (and 1 Grandson who I am raising). Basically it's all helped me to understand how the mind works, especially when it comes to kids. That's why I NEVER talked bad about their fathers. I knew that as my kids (and now grandson) would one day have to make their own decisions. Now that my Kids are older, I answer their questions honestly when they ask (recently ran into this with my youngest daughter.)
Thank you for your service!! My husband was a veteran!! He got disabled because of the military base he was on that had asbestos all over it!! That gave him heart problems and breathing problems!! He never had cancer but died 10 months ago because of complications with his heart!! 😢

My teacher had to deal with the same issue. Her husband was a green beret serving in Afghanistan. And one day as she was teaching a class, the department service of the US Army called her to tell her about the death of her husband. One day later she got a letter in the mail that confined his death and had a set up appointment to view the body to make sure it was absolutely her husband. It was and they had a funeral, grave side funeral and they had a dinner memorial dinner that was held in his remembrance and honor.
Seven years later she was actually married to someone else and they had two children together ( 5 in total ) and she gets a call that they had misidentified her husband and had actually found him on base still serving. But she too still remained with her new husband. But their isn’t a day that he’s by that she doesn’t remember her first love.
So you're expecting us to believe that both the Army and the family believed him to be dead for seven years, yet this guy was still "on base." That makes zero sense. One - deployments don't last for seven years, so how/why was he either still in Afghanistan or got transferred back to a base stateside. Two - Did this guy just not communicate with his family for SEVEN YEARS? Three - If he did die his wife would be receiving death benefits from the DoD causing his regular payments to stop. Was this guy working for free? Four - If the body was intact enough for a visual identification why didn't he have any other ID (Dog tags, name on uniform, etc.)? Five - If the body needed to be identified, they would have done a DNA sample to confirm. Six - Who's body was it actually? Someone had to be missing or at least AWOL. This is a terrible comment because I guarantee it didn't happen. Eight - You expect me to believe that in seven years, he never had to renew a drivers license, file a tax return, see a doctor, or countless other things that would have caused someone to go "hey buddy, says here you're dead." I could believe in battle someone could be misidentified for seven days, but not years. This is a terrible comment because it never happened.
@ryan r. Government is known to make mistakes from time to time especially since documents change hands several tomes and can easily get lost
This is why in the military you are always told to make copies and make more copies because documents are hard to come by. Again they will change hands before they get to the right party who will have to send them further up the chain changing hands several more times
@@BlueEyes-ii4zz regardless of how many copies of documents you have, the scenario above stated this person just went about life for 7 years without contacting family or seemingly receiving a pay check. That's unbelievable and why I think it's not true.
@ryan r. he could have also been Missin In Action, and if that's the case his wife would continue to recieve his pay until the Army can determine what actually happened to him. But the whole point of this story, is once he turned up alive, the right thing for the wife to do was leave her second husband and return to him

I can't imagine what a wife in this position would feel like. The man you love is suddenly still alive, but you've remarried, and you can't just kick your husband out. She was torn because she knew it wasn't fair to either of them

As unfair as it is to both men, I would say the better deal is to go back with the man of her dreams. Bc he was the guy of her dreams and they knew that from the time they had a kid and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. I understand that it isn’t fair for the guy she had to move on with and I would completely want my wife if I had one to move on if I died but if by some chance it was false and I couldn’t get back in 5 years then the other man has to understand that she was originally in love with the man she was originally with and saw a future with. Just bc that’s the right thing to do bc nothing is the same with out the guy you saw inside and out. Don’t get me wrong I understand he was in love with her and married to her at the time since they believed her old husband was dead but if he’s alive now then why not go back with him. He was your guy from the start. You only really see a soul connection with one person in your life. That’s just my input anyways

Wow. I can't imagine the pain the soldier is going through. Fighting through hell for 5 years, coming back to find the love of your life with someone else, looking like its been that way a couple years based on the 2nd childs age, your own child afraid of you and your only consolation is that you're allowed to see your daughter that someone else raised with your wife. I'd have to wrestle on some very dark choices if I were in his shoes.

I was in the Army for 3 years and imagine my self on that situation. I can’t believe what she said and what she did to this soldier i feel so bad for him. This man defense his country and end app with nothing. For one solder when he’s at the war he’s only hope is his family (wife and children).I believe on that situation is better to die then to survive.

My fiancée knows perfectly well that if I ever died not only would I want him to move on with his life, but it would be expected and the exact same would be expected for me. I wouldn't want to be in the situation Sarah was in though. That would be so tough that I wouldn't know what I'd do. Since this a true story there are some questions that I have.
1. Did the wife and his family ever see a death certificate?
2. Was the life insurance paid out?
3.if the answer to #1 and #2 is no and she and his family simply believed he was dead without any proof.
Now onto my second part. Seeing as how he is military. Bringing him back from the dead on paper was probably already done before he landed in the us or was released from the hospital. So because of that his marriage to the woman is still intact since it was never dissolved. That means that marriage to husband #2 is null and void.
