Maybe Tua does not want to accept what Trevor Lawerance got, the numbers show that his contract in reality was not record setting and was far behind the big five qbs.
Miami would be smart to not pay Tua till late October at the earliest. Actually cheaper to let him play out fifth year option and franchise tag him two years after that.

@@808shortts He only lasted a full season because McDaniel schemed the ball out extremely quick. He has had significant injuries in like 80% of all seasons (College/NFL) he has ever played. Last year he had 2-3 concussions. Pretty sure its reasonable to be talking about "what ifs" if the "ifs" are STATISTICALLY likely to happen based on Tua's entire career playing football. No one is "making anything up" lmao.
He led the league in passing because multiple elite QBs we hurt or went through funks (he had one of the lowest passing leader totals of the past 2 DECADES, even WITH a 17th game. Winston threw for 5100 yards in 16 games, did that make him a great QB? Hell nah. Also, Mac Jones made the probowl too (with a WAY worse roster around him btw). How did that work out for him? lmaoooo.
